The 40-year-old half-Ecuadorian American Grammy-winning singer kicked off the new year by kicking back and relaxing in the tub, and she shared a video of herself doing just that on social media on Friday, January 1.

Aguilera is seen in a bubble bath with a bottle of champagne and wearing a cowboy hat and nothing else.

Aguilera, who celebrated her 40th birthday right before Christmas, captioned the clip with the clinking glasses emoji, offering a virtual cheers to her fans.

Aguilera also shared a “new year, this energy” slideshow on Instagram, which featured a glimpse at a photo shoot and some birthday snapshots. As the pop star says: “I’m not turning 40. I’m arriving at 40!”
