Patricia Gomez-Gracia: The Latina Behind Underwood’s Grammy Gown

Carrie Underwood sparkled as one of the best-dressed artists at this year’s Grammy Awards… But, did you know a rising Latina fashion designer was the mastermind behind dazzling dress?

Patricia Gomez-Gracia designed the 28-year-old country superstar’s long-sleeve backless “Starlet” gown, which features intricately embroidered sequins on tulle.

The 30-something Spanish designer, who was born in Madrid and raised in Miami, launched her Gomez-Gracia fashion brand after receiving training from Alexander McQueen and Julien MacDonald.

The brand’s unique, sexy personality exudes Gomez-Gracia’s innate sense of style and elegance. Feminine and refined with an edgy, rock and roll twist, Gomez-Gracia is all about creating sensual cuts and flattering lines.

Her collections feature sophisticated, detail-rich party dresses with an emphasis on contrasting textures. Think seductive, sleek and confident, with an exquisite attention to detail and craftsmanship.

But this isn’t the first time Underwood dons a Gomez-Gracia stunner…
