Gomez Earns Top Honors at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Selena Gomez is the kids’ choice…

The 21-year-old half-Mexican American singer/actress took home top music honors at Nickelodeon‘s 27th annual Kids’ Choice Awards during the Mark Wahlberg-hosted ceremony, which aired live on Nickelodeon from the University of Southern California‘s Galen Center on Saturday, March 29.

Gomez beat out Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift for the coveted orange blimp in the Favorite Female Singer category.

In addition, Gomez took home the award for #1 Fan Army for her oh-so-committed Selenators.

Gomez, who has won at least one Kids’ Choice Award every year since 2009, has raised her overall orange blimp count to eight.
