Selena Gomez may soon be checking back into Hotel Transylvania…
Following the success of the 20-year-old half Mexican American actress’ animated film, Sony Animation has reportedly set a September 25, 2015 release date for a sequel to the animated film.
Hotel Transylvania debuted to big numbers at the end of last month and finished its opening frame in the No. 1 spot at the box office with $43 million, breaking the all-time September opening-weekend record and becoming the unit’s top-grossing debut ever.
Gomez lends her voice to the character of Mavis, Dracula’s teenage daughter in Hotel Transylvania.
The film’s domestic take at the box office has reached $137.5 million so far and it’s on the shortlist for the animated feature Oscar.
