Ariana DeBose’s hunter season won’t arrive until next summer…
Sony/Marvel has announced plans to postpone the release of Kraven the Hunter, starring the 32-year-old half-Puerto Rican Oscar-winning actress/singer, until August 30, 2024, Labor Day Weekend.
Kraven the Hunter, in which DeBose portrays, Calypso, a voodoo priestess and Kraven’s (Aaron Taylor-Johnson)love interest, was originally scheduled to open on October 6, but moved due to the strike.
The studio needs to blast this one out on a global tour and Taylor- Johnson needs to be in the mix for this freshman franchise.
Kraven the Hunter currently sits alone on Labor Day weekend, a place where Disney/Marvel posted a record opening for the 4-day holiday with Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ($94.6M).
