Mars Earns Two MTV Europe Music Award Nominations

Bruno Mars has a date with the MTV EMAs…

The 27-year-old part-Puerto Rican singer has earned two MTV Europe Music Award nominations, the most of any Latino artist this year.

Bruno Mars

Mars, who won his first-ever Moonman at the MTV Video Music Awards last month, is nominated in the Best Song category for his No. 1 hit single “Locked Out Of Heaven.”

He’s also up for Best Male, where he’s up against Eminem, Jay Z, Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake.

But Mars isn’t the only Latino artist to earn an at least one MTV EMA nomination…

Selena Gomez, who also won the first Moonman of her career at the MTV VMAs in August, is nominated for Best Female. She’s up against Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift
