Shakira’s Burna Boy-Collab “Dai Dai” Rises to No. 1 on Billboard Global 200

Shakira is celebrating her latest global hit…

The 49-year-old Colombian superstar and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)” is the most popular song in the world, rising two spots for its first week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.

Shakira, Burna Boy, Dai DaiIt also holds for a third week atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.

It’s the first official FIFA World Cup anthem to lead both charts, which began in 2020.

“Dai Dai” drew 41.5 million streams (up 8% week over week) and sold 6,000 (down 4%) worldwide July 3-9, according to Luminate.

Shakira claims her second Global 200 No. 1, after “TQG,” with Karol G, led in its debut week in March 2023. Burna Boy reigns for the first time.

Shakira and Burna Boy performed “Dai Dai” for a reported 80,000-plus fans at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony June 11 at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca. Soccer’s preeminent tournament runs through Sunday, July 19, when Shakira, Justin Bieber, BTS and Madonna are set to take the stage at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., for the first-ever World Cup final halftime show.

“Dai Dai” leads Global Excl. U.S. with 37.1 million streams (up 8%) and 4,000 sold (down 8%) outside the U.S.

The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.

Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.
