Caifanes to Perform at This Year’s Tropicália Music and Taco Festival

It’s time for Tropicália and tacos for Caifanes

Goldenvoice has announced the return of Tropicália Music and Taco Festival, with the Mexican rock en español band joining the lineup.

Takin place on November 9 and 10 in Southern California, the two-day festival will feature performances from Caifanes, Los Tigres Del NorteKali Uchis and Chicano Batman at its new location at the Pico Rivero Sports Arena grounds in Los Angeles County.

After two years in Long Beach, the Latin indie music festival will relocate and partner with L.A. Taco. The Los Angeles-based taco-focused website will curate the vendors for the first time, including Teddy’s Red TacosBalam Mexican Kitchen and Triple Threat, with more to be announced.

Los Tigres del Norte to Perform at the Tropicália Music and Taco Festival

Los Tigres del Norte are ready to hail the Queen…

The Grammy-winning Mexican norteño group are set to perform at the Tropicália Music and Taco Festival at Queen Mary Park in Long Beach, CA.

Los Tigres del Norte join a list of more than 50 artists that includes Os Mutantes, Kali Uchis, Café Tacvba and Ivy Queen.

The Tropicália Music and Taco Festival will take place on November 11.

King Krule, Celso Piña, Chicano Batman and Wanda Jackson are also on the multi-generational, multi-lingual bill, according to festival promoters The Observatory Group.

Tickets are now on sale at the festival website starting at $85 and topping at a “Rage on the Stage” VIP pass priced at $500 per person. The price includes all-you-can-eat tacos until 4 p.m. from over two dozen area taquerias.
