I have built my career on honesty, reality and creating the most vibrant, impactful career for my fans and my family. I look forward to continuing to share this with the viewers.”

Rivera’s lucrative deal includes an untitled new project for Rivera’s daughter Chiquis, who previously starred in the network’s top-rated original series Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C.

“Jenni is an icon,” declares mun2’s general manager Diana Mogollon of  the award-winning artist who has sold more than 22 million albums worldwide. “She is one of the most respected and acclaimed Latinas in music and entertainment, and is an integral part of the mun2 family. We know her fans will share our excitement as she continues to influence, build and give back to music and the Latino community.”

The new season of I Love Jenni, which begins shooting this fall, should be back on air in 2012.
