Justina Adorno to Star in ABC’s Drama Pilot “Grand Hotel”

Justina Adorno is about to have a Grand ole time…

The Latina actress has landed a series-regular role on ABC’s drama pilot Grand Hotel, hailing from Eva Longoria, Brian Tanen and ABC Studios.

Written by Tanen based on a Spanish format and directed by Ken Olin, Grand Hotel is a soapy drama set against the backdrop of a Miami Beach hotel, centering on the family who owns the business, the staff who run it and the explosive secrets they hide under the perfect exterior.

Adorno will play Yoli, Carolina’s (Feliz Ramirez) twin sister.

Adorno, a member of the NBC Diversity Showcase, can be seen in a recurring role role on Netflix’s Seven Seconds.

She also recently wrapped filming features Mike Mike Tan and Shotgun.

Torres Lands Recurring Role on Fox’s Baseball Drama Series “Pitch”

Jeff Torres is Pitch perfect…

The 31-year-old Latino actor has booked a recurring role on Fox’s Pitch, Dan Fogelman’s baseball drama series.

Written by Fogelman and Rick Singer and directed by Paris Barclay, Pitch follows Ginny (Kylie Bunbury), a young pitcher who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues.

Torres will portray Stubbs, one of Ginny’s teammates on the Padres team.

Torres performed in this year’s NBC Diversity Showcase. He also has guest-starred on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Telenovela.
