The Power of Aguilera’s “Secret Potion” Revealed?

So what’s the secret (potion) to Christina Aguilera’s scentsational success? A look at the spot for her latest fragrance may provide some clues.

The Grammy-winning singer and “The Voice” coach looks absolutely flawless in the just-released commercial for her  brand new scent, Secret Potion.

The spot shows the 30-year-old half-Ecuadorian singer in an elevator, spritzing the perfume on herself. As she ascends up, the magical “potion” transforms her dull dress into a eye-catching ensemble that’s perfect for the buzzing penthouse party she’s about to enter.

Secret Potion is described as a “mysterious and erotic evening fragrance for women who like to be in the spotlight, whose beauty lies precisely in their strength and confidence.” It has top notes of fruits like mandarin, lemon and passion fruit.

The new scent follows the release of the singer’s other perfumes — her signature Christina Aguilera fragrance, Royal Desire and By Night.

Secret Potion is currently available online and in select stores in the United Kingdom.

She’s become a style icon and acclaimed fashion designer… So it makes perfect scents that Nicole Richie is preparing to launch her first-ever fragrance.

The 30-year-old mother-of-two has signed a deal with TPR Holdings to launch her signature scent to be sold in department and specialty stores. The “cool, classy scent with an edge” is due to hit stores next September.

“[Nicole] has a wide breadth of creative talents being an author, a jewelry designer, a fashion designer and an aspirational figure,” Brian Robinson, president of TPR told Women’s Wear Daily. “She also has 3 million Twitter followers but more importantly she has trade credibility. She’s done a great job with her image.”

Richie, who rose to fame as Paris Hilton’s sidekick on the hit reality show, “The Simple Life,” which followed the two socialites as they struggled to do manual, low-paying work.

Since then, she’s her shed her bad-girl and become a red carpet superstar and successful entrepreneur. She’s launched a jewelry collection and clothing and accessories lines, written two books and starred in a variety of acting projects.
