Jacqueline Correa to Appear in Netflix’s Romance “A Tourist’s Guide to Love”

The Latina actress has joined the cast of Netflix’s romance A Tourist’s Guide to Love.

Jacqueline CorreaCorrea is part of a roster of new cast additions that includes Ben FeldmanMissi Pyle, Nondumiso Tembe, Morgan Lynee Dudley, Andrew Barth Feldman, Glynn Sweet and Alexa Povah.

Correa and the new cast additions join an ensemble that also includes Rachael Leigh Cook, Scott Ly, Thanh Truc and Le Thien, as previously announced.

In the film from director Steven Tsuchida, a travel executive goes through an unexpected breakup, then accepting an assignment to go undercover and learn about the tourist industry in Vietnam. Along the way she finds adventure and romance with her Vietnamese expat tour guide when they decide to reroute the tour bus in order to explore life and love off the beaten path.

Cook and Muse Entertainment’s Joel S. Rice are producing the film penned by Eirene Donohue, with Jim Head exec producing for Head First Productions, alongside Lydia Storie for Muse Entertainment. Galen Fletcher is co-producing for Radius Squared Media Group, with CreaTV’s Irene Trinh serving as line producer, and Dustin Nguyen serving as Vietnamese consulting producer. Production began in Vietnam in April.

Gonzalez to Star on Lifetime’s “Witches of East End” Pilot

The 36-year-old Mexican American actor has signed on to serve as a series regular on the Lifetime pilot Witches of East End.

The new series stars Julia Ormond as a mom who has been hiding a shocking secret from her daughters Ingrid and Freya — that her girls are witches.

Gonzalez will portray Matthew, a good-natured local cop who is dating a ditzy co-worker of Ingrid’s (Rachel Boston) but is more interested in dating Ingrid. He soon becomes super busy at work when a series of murders and strange deaths bedevil his previously placid township.

Gonzalez next appears in the Lifetime/Sony movie Left To Die, starring opposite Rachael Leigh Cook. He’s previously appeared on CSI: Miami, True Blood, Ghost Whisperer and Melrose Place.
