Giovanni Reyna is officially on the goal leaderboard at his new club…

The 23-year-old Argentine-American professional soccer player and United States national team member scored his first goal since signing with Strasbourg.

The Ligue 1 club trounced Troyes 6-2 on Sunday.

Reyna joined Strasbourg from Borussia Monchengladbach during the summer transfer window.

Sam Amo-Ameyaw added a pair of late goals for the visitors, who have won two in a row after a 4-0 opening loss at Marseille.

Troyes had taken the lead with Antoine Mille in the ninth minute and stayed ahead until Jacobo Ortega‘s 40th-minute equalizer.

Reyna’s promising career has been beset by injuries in recent years, but he was still fit to take part in the USMNT‘s run to the round of 16 at the FIFA World Cup this summer.

Strasbourg are in sixth place in France’s top flight with six points from three games.
