Jacob Rodriguez to Appear on Season Two of Hulu’s “Tell Me Lies”

Jacob Rodriguez is tellin’ lies…

The Puerto Rican actor has landed a recurring role for Season Two of the Hulu Original Series Tell Me Lies.

Jacob Rodriguez Rodriguez (Attaway General) will play Chris, the good-looking brother of Lydia (Natalee Linez), who is excited about attending Baird. He’s friendly, good-natured and takes an interest in Pippa (Sonia Mena).

Tell Me Lies, which is now in production on season 2, follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of eight years and sweeps everyone around it into its dangerous wake. A group of college friends has no idea that one addictive entanglement among them has the power to pull them all into a web of betrayal, sex, and lies that will permanently alter each of their paths forever.

Meaghan Oppenheimer serves as executive producer & showrunner. 

Adapted from Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name, Lovering serves as a consulting producer.

The Hulu Original series is produced by 20th Television.

 

Natalee Linez to Appear in Hulu’s Series “Tell Me Lies,” Based on Carola Lovering’s Novel

Natalee Linez is in a telling mood…

The Latina actress has been cast in the Hulu series Tell Me Lies, based on Carola Lovering’s novel.

Natalee LinezJonathan Levine will direct the pilot and executive produce the project.

Linez will star opposite Gabriella Pession and Edmund Donovan have been cast in recurring roles opposite Grace Van Patten in the series executive produced by Emma Roberts.

Adapted by Meaghan Oppenheimer, Tell Me Lies follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright (Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them.

Oppenheimer, who wrote the pilot script, executive produces with Roberts, Levine and Belletrist co-founder Karah Preiss via their banner. Laura Lewis executive produces for Rebelle Media, and Shannon Gibson executive produces for Vice Studios. Matt Matruski will oversee for Belletrist, with Stephanie Noonan overseeing for Rebelle Media and Sam Schlaifer overseeing for Vice-owned Refinery29. Lovering will serve as a consulting producer. The series comes from 20th Television.

Linez most recently appeared in the role of Jessica Figueroa on Starz’s Power Book III: Raising Kanan. Her other recent credits include The Good Doctor, Siren and Hawaii Five-O.
