Camilo Among Artists Featured on New Coca-Cola Anthem “Be Who You Are (Real Magic)”

Camilo is celebrating real magic

The 29-year-old Colombian musician/singer has joined voices with NewJeans, Jon Batiste, Cat Burns and J.I.D. for the new Coca-Cola anthem “Be Who You Are (Real Magic).”

CamiloThe track was written by Batiste and marks the second season of COKE STUDIO’s global music platform, the song aims to “celebrate human connection and embrace diversity,” per the press release.

Hoping to emphasize the “power of authenticity,” the single hopes to enforce the idea that “real magic” happens when people come together and accept their differences.

The music video helps to highlight this message, as it features Camilo and his co-collaborators coming together in harmony.

Alongside the single, the platform will see multiple artist collision songs plus a program of festival sponsorships, on-pack experiences, live performances and AR and digital content.

Rosalía to Perform Headlining Set at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival

The 30-year-old Spanish Grammy-winning singer is set to serve as a headlining act at this year’s Roskilde Festival in Denmark.

Organizers announced a slew of new additions to the line-up on Monday, February 27, including Angélique KidjoCaroline PolachekWeyes BloodCode OrangeIndigo De Souza and Special Interest.

Other previously announced names on the roster for the fest slated to take place between June 24-July 1 are: Burna Boy, Sudan Archives, Big Freedia, GloRilla, Lil Nas X, Central Cee, Fever Ray, Hudson Mowhawke, Tinariwen, Lock Up, Benny Jamz, Clarissa Conelly’s Canon, 070 Shake, Derya Yildrim & Grup Simsek, Alice Glass, Rina Sawayama, Denzel Curry, Tove Lo, Japanese Breakfast, Nikki Lane, First Hate, Fulu Miziki, J.I.D., Rema, Armand Hammer, Billy Woods, Nora Brown and Phelimuncasi.

In a statement, Roskilde’s head of programming, Anders Wahrén, praised the eclectic lineup, saying, “This announcement features some of the most vehement vocalists and powerful performers right now, acts whom in each their own way convey hope, meaning and change. Roskilde Festival has shared a special, decade-spanning bond with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Angélique Kidjo, and they always bring something new to this festival.”

Speaking specifically about Lamar, Wahrén added, “Kendrick Lamar is one of the most requested artists among our festival audience, and he possesses a peerless artistic vision. He is no doubt the most influential rapper of his generation, and we’re excited to welcome him back.”

Kid Cudi to Co-Headline This Year’s Governors Ball at New York’s Citi Field

The 37-year-old half-Mexican American singer/rapper is set to co-headline the 2022 Governors Ball festival at Citi Field in Queens, New York.

The event will also feature sets from Migos, Jack Harlow, Louis the Child, Black Pumas, Skepta, Beabadoobee, Flume, Roddy Ricch, YG, Tove Lo, Denzel Curry, Playboi Carti, Glass Animals, Kaytranada, Clairo, Becky G, Jazmine Sullivan, Japanese Breakfast, 100 Gecs and many more.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday, January 27 at noon ET on the event’s website; a special presale for three-day and one-day passes and VIP tickets will open exclusively for Citi cardmembers from 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday (Jan. 25) through 11:59 a.m. ET on Thursday (Jan. 27).

In a release announcing this year’s event, promoters Founders Entertainment also said that they’ll be donating $25,000 to the New York City Mayor’s Fund for the victims of January’s devastating Bronx apartment building fire that killed 17 and injured dozens of others; attendees can also support the victims of the blaze by donation to the relief effort via The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City.

Other artists slated to perform at this year’s Governors Ball include JPEGMAFIA, Coi Leray, Channel Tres, Joji, Still Woozy, ASHNIKKO, Chelsea Cutler, Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal), Gus Dapperton, J.I.D, COIN, Soccer Mommy, Surf Curse, DUCKWRTH, Del Water Gap and more.

The festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in the fall with a show that featured headliners Post Malone, Billie Eilish and A$AP Rocky. As usual, the 2022 festival will feature a rich array of craft cocktails, beers, food, surprise pop-up performances and art installations.
