Selena Gomez’s Fans Speculate That She’ll Release Spanish Music in the Near Future

The 28-year-old Mexican American singer/actress’ fans believe that Gomez has new music is on the way: a Spanish-language project.

“10 years later, she’s coming!” reads a fan tweet responding to a tweet from Gomez in 2011. The singer expressed almost a decade ago: “Can’t wait for y’all to hear the Spanish record 😉 it’s sounding so cool.”

Selenators speculate that Gomez will soon release two Spanish-language songs titled “De Una Vez” and “Baila Conmigo” after various promo murals started popping up across Mexico.

“Mexican Selenator took a picture with a painted wall in Sayulita, Mexico,” tweeted fan page Selena Gomez Worldwide.

Meanwhile, the “Look At Her Now” singer, who hasn’t confirmed new music, recently teased the second season of her HBO Max cooking show Selena + Chef with a new trailer featuring the show’s second lead star, her grandfather.

“As you all know by now, I’m not the best cook,” she confesses during a voiceover in the clip. “But I’m not going to stop trying to get better. So I’m back in my kitchen to get schooled by the best chefs.”

Gomez will return to HBO Max on January 21.

The 50-year-old Puerto Rican superstar tops Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart (dated Feb. 29) for an 18th time, as “Baila Conmigo” rises 2-1. 

J.Loreplaces Madonna’s “I Don’t Search I Find” on the chart to earn her 18th career No. 1 on the chart. 

Her string of chart-toppers officially spans four decades; she first ruled the chart with “If You Had My Love” in 1999.

Lopez’s newest song may not be familiar to the English-speaking U.S., but it’s already a huge hit in Latin America: “Baila Conmigo,” a brassy, hard-driving club record originally produced by Dayvi and Victor Cardenas and sung by Kelly Ruiz.

But J.Lo sings stern, rapid-fire lines over the track’s martial horns,and she also adds an “oh-oh-oh” chant that’s guaranteed to play well during her next arena show.

Jennifer Lopez Releases New Dance/EDM Single “Baila Conmigo”

After spending all summer celebrating her 50th birthday with the It’s My Party tour, the Puerto Rican superstarhas released a new single, “Baila Conmigo.”

The track, produced by Servando PrimeraDavid SánchezVictor Cárdenas and Luis Barrera, is a Spanish-language Dance/EDM track with lyrics about wanting to spend a special night at the beach dancing until the sunrise. 

“Dale que dale mas duro que la música rompe los muros que solo bailando me curo baila conmigo,” sings J.Lo.

The new song comes weeks after Lopez announced that she’ll be performing at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside Shakira.
