Ricky Martin to Perform at the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

Ricky Martin is ready to light up the 4th of July holiday…

The 46-year-old Puerto Rican superstar will perform at the 42nd annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.

Martin joins a roster that includes Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.

American Authors and Brandon Victor Dixon will also join the star-studded broadcast, hosted by NBC’s American Ninja Warrior stars Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila.

Dixon will be joined by the Harlem Gospel Choir for a special rendition of “America the Beautiful,” while Urban will perform with Julia Michaels for a song on his set.

Clarkson, alongside the West Point Bandand Glee Club, will feature their new recording of “God Bless America” for the patriotic anthem’s 100th anniversary.

The song will play as a backdrop to the show’s Golden Mile, an array of gold effects stretching for a mile across the East River.

The 42nd annual Macy’s 4th of July firework show combines a pyrotechnic spectacle — which will be Macy’s largest firework display since the Millennial Celebration of 2000 — with spectacular performances. The West Point Band and Glee Club are also set to perform renditions of “Stars & Stripes Forever” and “The Star Spangled Banner.”

“Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” airs Wednesday, July 4 at 8-10 pm ET/PT, with an hour-long encore presentation at 10 pm.

John Leguizamo to Present at Sunday’s Tony Awards Ceremony

John Leguizamo is ready to (re)present…

The 53-year-old Colombian actor and stand-up comedian will serve as a presenter at this Sunday’s Tony Awards ceremony.

Leguizamo, who previously earned two Tony Award nods, is nominated this year for Best Play for his one-man show Latin History for Morons.

Leguizamo joins a list of presenters that includes Christine Baranski, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Jeff DanielsRobert De Niro, Brandon Victor DixonTina Fey, Billy Joel, Patti LuPone and Kerry Washington.

Tony Award Lifetime Achievement Award recipients Andrew Lloyd Webber and Chita Rivera will also take the stage.

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban, will air live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS on Sunday at 8:00-11:00 pm ET/delayed PT.
