DirecTV acquired the series for Audience Network.

The Code was created by Shelley Birse and written by Birse, Blake Ayshford and Justin Monjo.

Garcia, who rose to acclaim in the U.S. after his role in Coyote Ugly, most recently appeared on CBSThe Crazy Ones and NBC’s Camp. He also served as the fourth judge on the 2013 Australian version of Dancing With The Stars.
