Belinda Launching Her “Catarsis” Tour in Mexico City

The 24-year-old Mexican singer-songwriter says the opening show of her Catarsis tour will be full of “surprises” and special guests.

Belinda is reportedly is working hard to ensure that this Friday’s performance at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City is “very big,” according to Efe.

The spectacle will include a supporting cast of 15 musicians and 30 dancers, with all of the action captured on camera and transmitted to 10 giant television screens, announced Belinda.

Along with singing the material from Catarsis, which was released last month, she plans to perform songs from her three previous albums Belinda, Utopia and Carpe Diem.

Catarsis, which quickly rose to the top of the Latin pop charts in Mexico, the United States, Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republic, features a duet with rapper Pitbull, as well as the dancetastic first single “En El Amor Hay Que Perdonar.”

Following the release of a special behind-the-scenes video, the 22-year-old Mexican singer has released the full length version of her oh-so-sexy video for “En El Amor Hay Que Perdonar.”

The clip portrays Belinda as a sexy ‘queen of the jungle,’ in oh-so-revealing ensembles, who shows no fear when walking along the beach next to a live leopard.

“Thanks to all the belifans for your support and your [unconditional] love, that is why I love you all,” Belinda recently tweeted.

Filmed in Guerrero, México, the music video was directed by Daniel Shain.

Belinda Releases Teaser Clip for New Music Video

It looks like Belinda is revving up to release new music in the near future…

The 22-year-old Mexican singer/actress even took to Twitter to release publish a behind-the-scenes look at the taping of the music video for her new single “En El Amor Hay Que Perdonar,” the lead single from her fourth album Catarsis.

Filmed in Acapulco, Mexico, the video shows the bikini-clad singer parading through the jungle at night, dancing on a platform on the beach during the day and walking on the sand with a danerously felinetastic co-star.

In addition, the special video diary shows Belinda—a two-time Latin Grammy Award nominee who has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide—getting all dolled up for the cameras.

Belinda’s new album, Catarsis, is scheduled to be released on September 25, 2012.
