Lozada Strips Down for Peta’s Anti-Fur Campaign

This holiday season, Evelyn Lozada is lending her voice and her body for a good cause…

The 37-year-old Puerto Rican Basketball Wives star has stripped down to her birthday suit for PETA‘s latest “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign.

Evelyn Lozada's PETA Ad

Lozada’s cheeky new winter-themed anti-fur ad, shot by celebrity photographer Drexina Nelson, features the reality television star laying on her stomach with her bare legs dangling in the air and covered with faux snow.

“I’m an animal lover,” she says in a new promo spot for the campaign. “I’m definitely one of those people who wore fur years ago. I was looking online and I saw how these animals are tortured…You don’t really realize the hurt and the pain that they go through.”

In the PETA ad, Lozada shows the world that a woman doesn’t need to wear fur to be glamorous or beautiful.

She’s the latest in a long line of celebrities who’d “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur,” including Eva Mendes, Khloe Kardashian, Christy Turlington, Wendy Williams, Joanna Krupa and Bethenny Frankel.

Quincoces Joining the Cast of “The Real Housewives of Miami”

Ana Quincoces will be adding some serious sizzle to The Real Housewives of Miami

The Cuban-American chef—voted Miami’s “hottest chef” by Eater magazine last year—will be joining the cast of Bravo’s South Florida-based reality series for its upcoming second season, which offers “an inside look into the aspirational lives of seven women as they juggle family, work, and a spicy social scene in the hottest city in the world.”

Ana Quincoces

Quincoces, who happens to be a practicing lawyer in her spare time, self-published her first cookbook, Cuban Chicks Can Cook, as a tribute to her mother and a legacy for her daughters. After the book quickly sold out in local bookstores, she was contacted by a large publishing house to write her second cookbook, Sabor! A Passion for Cuban Cuisine.

In addition to bringing Quincoces, The Real Housewives of Miami will welcome newcomers Lisa Hochstein, supermodel Joanna Krupa and celebrity dentist Karent Sierra to the show.

Meanwhile, first season scene-stealers Lea Black, Adriana de Moura and Marysol Patton will be back as series regulars, while Alexia Echevarria will return in a recurring role.

Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami is set to premiere on Thursday, September 13 at 10:00 pm with a 75-minute episode.
