Dave Navarro Returning as ‘Master of Chaos’ on New Season of Paramont+’s Revived “Ink Master” Series

There’s more ink in Dave Navarro’s future…

Following its cancellation in 2020, Ink Master will return to Paramount+ on September 7, with the 55-year-old Mexican American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and television personality returning in a new role.

Dave NavarroNavarro, the show’s former host, will return as the Master of Chaos and will introduce crazy twists and game-changing bombs to the reality competition series.

Joel Madden, lead vocalist for the pop/punk band Good Charlotte and co-founder of music companies Veeps and MDDN, will emcee.

Former Ink Master winner Ryan Ashley, celebrity tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado and industry veteran Ami James will serve as judges.

In the new, 10-episode season, fan-favorite artists will return to compete in the ultimate tattoo competition. The artists will face new challenges seen in the battle to win $250,000 and the title of “Ink Master.” The show first launched in 2012 and spawned a number of spinoffs, including Ink Master: Grudge Match.

The show was canceled in 2020 at the Paramount Network because the cabler was looking to refocus its strategy on television movies and mini-series. Last year, Paramount+ decided to bring back the format.

Brewster to Compete on the Next Installment of “Masterchef Celebrity Showdown”

The lineup for the next installment of Masterchef Celebrity Showdown has been announced, with the 36-year-old Brazilian-Panamanian actress among those joining the two-hour charity event set to air January 2 at 8:00 pm on Fox.

Brewster, one of the stars of the The Fast and the Furious film franchise, joins a roster that includes Kal Penn, Anthony Anderson and former NFL stars Ronde Barber and Tiki Barber.

The special will also feature the first ever battle royale between Masterchef judges Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi, with Ramsay teaming up with Anderson to face off against Tosi and Brewster.

Anderson and Ramsay representing Watts/Willowbrook Boys & Girls Club, vs. Brewster and Tosi competing for No Kid Hungry.

First Glimpse: Martin on “The Voice Australia”

Shakira may have taken over for Christina Aguilera on the upcoming edition of NBC’s The Voice… But she isn’t the only Hispanic artist coaching new singing  talent.

Last November Ricky Martin officially joined the cast of The Voice Australia, where he’ll serve a one of the show’s judges. The 41-year-old Puerto Rican “Livin’ la Vida Loca” singer replaces country superstar Keith Urban, who joined Mariah Carey on American Idol.

And now Martin is giving his fans a first look at his work on The Voice Australia. He released on Twitter a teaser video from Australia’s Nine Network highlighting some of the blind auditions.

Martin, who recently wrapped up production on Broadway’s Evita, joins last year’s coaches Delta Goodrem, Seal and Joel Madden on the program, as they search for the best voice of Australia.
