First Trailer Released for Lionsgate’s “Expend4ables,” Featuring Andy Garcia Among New Cast Additions

The first trailer for Lionsgate’s Expend4ables, which will see the 67-year-old Cuban actor joining the cast, has been released.

The fourth title in the Expendables action franchise, which has grossed over $804M worldwide with past installments, Expend4ables reintroduces viewers to Barney Ross (Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren) and Toll Road (Randy Couture), the elite mercenaries who together make up the team known as The Expendables.

Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, these four are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. The new film will see them engage with new team members with styles and tactics of their own that will give the expression “new blood” a whole new meaning.

In addition Garcia, others joining the franchise’s core four in the film are Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio and Levy Tran.

The film is slated for release on September 22nd.

Scott Waugh directed from a script by Kurt Wimmer & Tad Daggerhart and Max Adams, which was based on a story by Spenser Cohen and Wimmer & Daggerhart.

Lovato to Perform at This Year’s Teen Choice Awards

Demi Lovato will storm this year’s Teen Choice Awards

The 21-year-old part-Mexican singer/actress and former The X Factor judge will take the stage at this year’s Teen Choice Awards alongside Cher Lloyd.

The two will perform their dancetastic duet “Really Don’t Care,” the latest single off Lovato’s self-titled 2013 album, according to Fox.

Lovato has several nominations. She is up for Choice Summer Song and Choice Break-Up Song with Lloyd for “Really Don’t Care.” She’s also nominated for Choice Summer Music Star: Female as well as Choice Love Song for her duet with The Vamps, “Somebody to You.”

In addition to Lovato, the network also confirmed that Rita Ora will perform her latest single “I Will Never Let You Down.”

Additionally, Hilary Duff, Megan Fox, Fifth Harmony, Kevin Hart, Colton Haynes, Josh Hutcherson, Sarah Hyland, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Lea Michele, The Band Perry and Nat Wolff will all make appearances.

The Teen Choice Awards will air on August 10 at 8:00 pm ET on Fox.

The 31-year-old half-Mexican American actress will announce the nominations for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards tomorrow (Thursday, December 13, 2012).

Alba will join Megan Fox, Ed Helms and Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) President Dr. Aida Takla-O’Reilly to reveal the names of the award hopefuls in 25 motion picture and television categories.

The announcement will begin at approx. 5:00 am PST/8:00 am EST from the Beverly Hilton.

Saldaña May Star Opposite Megan Fox in Swindle

Zoë Saldaña could soon be sharing the screen with Megan Fox

Paramount Pictures has acquired the action-heist spec script Swindle as a starring vehicle for the 33-year-old half-Dominican/half-Puerto Rican American actress and Fox.

The actresses will reportedly produce the film with Moneyball producer Michael De Luca, who is developing the project.

Paramount is remaining tight-lipped about the storyline for the project, which came out of a desire by Saldaña and Fox to do a movie together.

Saldana is currently shooting the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek sequel and will next star in the Guillaume Canet-directed Blood Ties, opposite Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, and Marion Cotillard.
