Eddie Cibrian to Appear on Season 3 of ABC’s “Home Economics”

The 49-year-old Cuban American actor has joined the cast of ABC’s Home Economics in a recurring guest star role for Season 3.

Eddie CibrianCibrian will portray the character of Santiago, an extremely good-looking contractor who starts working with Marina (Karla Souza).

Home Economics, inspired by series co-creator Michael Colton’s real-life experiences, documents the uncomfortable yet heartwarming relationships of three siblings in very different situations: one in the ultra-rich, one in the middle class, and one scraping by.

The series stars Topher Grace, Caitlin McGee, Jimmy Tatro, Souza, Sasheer Zamata, Shiloh Bearman, Jordyn Curet, Chloe Jo Rountree and JeCobi Swain.

The comedy series currently airs on Wednesday nights at 9:30 pm.

Home Economics is produced by Lionsgate and ABC Signature.

Cibrian most recently starred in Netflix’s Country Comfort where he portrayed the character of Beau.

Prior to that, he was a lead in ABC’s Take Two and Fox’s Rosewood.

His other television credits include CBS’ CSI: Miami, ABC’s Ugly Betty and NBC’s Third Watch.

Netflix has given a 10-episode series order to Country Comfort, a multi-camera comedy series starring the 46-year-old Cuban American actor and actress-singer Katharine McPhee.

The series was created by former The Nannyexecutive producer Caryn Lucas.

In Country Comfort,when her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Cibrian) and his five children. With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, this newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.

Ricardo Hurtado (Malibu Rescue), Jamie Martin Mann, Pyper BraunShiloh Verrico (Here TodayCrown Vic) and Griffin McIntyreplay the children.

Cibrian recently starred in the ABC series Take Twoand was previously seen in Fox’s Rosewood.

ABC Gives Straight-to-Series Order to “Take Two,” Starring Eddie Cibrian

Eddie Cibrian is taking two

ABC has given a straight-to-series order to Take Two, starring the 44-year-old Cuban American actor and Rachel Bilson.

Created by Castle creator Andrew W. Marlowe and his wife, former Castle executive producer Terri Edda Miller, the series is described as an upbeat procedural.

Written by Marlowe and Miller, stars Bilson as Ella, the former star of a hit cop series who’s fresh-out-of-rehab following a bender of epic proportion. Desperate to restart her career, she talks her way into shadowing rough-and-tumble private investigator Eddie (Cibrian) as research for a potential comeback role. Though lone wolf Eddie resents the babysitting gig, high-spirited Ella proves herself to be surprisingly valuable, drawing on her acting skills and 200 episodes of playing a detective. When the press touts Ella’s role in solving a high-profile case, Eddie finds his phone ringing off the hook with new clients looking to hire the pair.

The project is an international co-production between ABC Studios and StudioCanal’s Tandem Prods. In addition to ABC, the series has been picked up by RTL/VOX in Germany and France Television in France.

Cibrian played Jesse Cardoza on CSI: Miami and most recently was a series regular on Rosewood.
