Armisen to Voice Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Supervillain in TMNT Sequel

It’s Turtle Time for Fred Armisen

The 49-year-old half-Venezuelan actor and former Saturday Night Live star will be voicing longstanding Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles supervillain Krang in the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Fred Armisen

If you’re not familiar with the TMNT franchise, Krang is a warlord from another dimension who exists as what amounts to a floating brain inside an android exoskeleton.

“Anyone who’s a fan of Krang will love what Fred is doing. It’s unbelievable,” announced producer Andrew Form during this year’s Wondercon.

The new film will be released on June 3.
