Fat Joe to Return as Guest Host on “The Wendy Williams Show” in March

Fat Joe is marching forward to help a friend…

The Wendy Williams Show has lined up its guest hosts for the month of March, including the 51-year-old Puerto Rican and Cuban rapper.

Fat-JoeThe month kicks off with comedian Kym Whitley and actor Finesse Mitchell hosting from Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11.

Frequent guest hosts Fat Joe and Remy Ma will take the helm beginning Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18.

Main guest host Sherri Shepherd, who was recently announced to succeed Williams with her own syndicated talk show Sherri, will return to the purple chair beginning Monday, March 21 through Friday, March 25.

Closing out the month will be TV personality Carson Kressley and actress Vivica A. Fox in their debut as guest hosts from Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1.

Shepherd, along with Michael Rapaport have been the lead guest hosts of the show with Williams out, but Rapaport is no longer on the schedule.

 is slated to continue through the end of this season with rotating guest hosts, including Shepherd, as Williams has been sidelined with health issues for the entire season.

Rivera to Compete on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” This January

Geraldo Rivera will be reporting for apprentice duty in early 2015…

The long-in-the-can seventh installment of NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice, with the 71-year-old half-Puerto Rican talk show host among the competitors, will premiere on January 4 in the reality series’ previous time slot, Sunday 9:00-11:00 pm.

The Donald Trump-created series will then move into its new time slot, Monday 8-10 pm ET, filling in for The Voice while the singing competition is on winter hiatus.

The network also officially revealed the celebrity cast of Season 7 that will join Donald Trump and his children Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric in the boardroom.

In addition to Rivera, this installment includes two-time World Series champion Johnny Damon; actor/comedian Gilbert Gottfried; Deadliest Catch star Sig Hansen, musician Kevin Jonas; actor Lorenzo Lamas; NFL great Terrell Owens; actor Ian Ziering; Gold Medal Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson; actress Vivica A. Fox; TV host Leeza Gibbons; reality star Brandi Glanville; reality star Kate Gosselin; Olympics gold medal gymnast Shawn Johnson; reality star Kenya Moore; and actress Keshia Knight Pulliam.

Taking a page from the playbook of ABC, which announces the celebrity casts of Dancing With The Stars on Good Morning America, the cast of The Celebrity Apprentice was unveiled on Today.

Lorenzo Lamas is getting trumped

The 56-year-old half-Argentine American actor will reportedly be among the contestants on the upcoming seventh season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, according to Us Weekly.

It’s not the first reality television show appearance for Lamas, best known for portraying Lance Cumson on the popular 1980s primetime sudser Falcon Crest. He previously starred in his own reality show, Leave it to Lamas, a series that centered on his real-life family.

His most recent credits include a recurring role on Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush and appearances on The Joe Schmo Show and The Eric Andre Show.

Other reported contestants on the Donald Trump-hosted reality competition include Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Brandi Glanville, Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kenya MooreDancing with the Stars alum and mother of eight Kate Gosselin, Olympian Shawn Johnson, rapper Ludacris, volleyball star Gabrielle Reece, and actors Ian Ziering and Vivica A. Fox.

Journalist Geraldo Rivera and Cosby Show star Keshia Knight Pulliam will also compete, according to TMZ.

The cast will be officially announced on Thursday.

The new season of Celebrity Apprentice will begin filming this spring.

Good to Portray Whitney Houston in Biopic About the Late Singer?

The 32-year-old part-Puerto Rican actress could portray Whitney Houston in a biopic about the late Grammy-winning singer.

Good, who most recently starred in the NBC drama Deception, is now linked to the project after telling the Los Angeles Times in an interview that the project was her dream job. She also said that she’d been discussing a potential film project with the singer before her tragic death.

According to The Wrap, record producer Clive Davis, who was also considered Whitney’s close friend, will shepherd the project.

At one point this year, Tyler Perry even expressed his interest in directing the project should the untitled Whitney Houston biopic come together.

Since Whitney’s sudden death in February 2012, a slew of stars have been rumored to be in consideration to portray her on the big screen, including Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Vivica A Fox and Jordin Sparks, who played Whitney’s on-screen daughter in her final movie Sparkle.

Good’s latest film Anchorman: The Legend Continues is currently playing in theaters.

The Montelongo-Produced “Mission Park” to Open in Select AMC Theaters This September

Armando Montelongo, Jr. is set to get the independent treatment at the box office…

AMC Theaters has announced plans to run Mission Park, the first film from the 43-year-old real estate entrepreneur and reality television star’s production company Armando Montelongo Productions, in select theaters this September, as part of its AMC Independent platform.

Mission Park will be released in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and San Antonio on September 6. Other markets will follow.

The crime drama, written and directed by Bryan Ramirez in his directorial debut, is the first project from Montelongo’s San Antonio-based company, which he formed in 2011 to promote the production of independent films and cable TV programming in South Texas.

The film follows four friends who become divided when two of them fall into a life of crime and the other two become FBI agents who are sent undercover to attempt to bring their best friends down. It was filmed in San Antonio.

Mission Park stars Jeremy Ray Valdez, Walter Perez, Fernanda Romero, Joseph Julian Soria and Will Rothhaar. It also features Vivica A. Fox, Will Estes and Sean Patrick Flanery.

Mission Park won the best narrative feature, best director and best acting performance (for Perez) prizes at this year’s Boston International Film Festival, and the Special Jury Prize for Best Feature Film at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.
