Camila Cabello Earns First No. 1 on UK Singles Chart with “Havana”

It’s a special first for Camila Cabello…

The 20-year-old Cuban singer and former Fifth Harmony member has landed her first No. 1 hit as a solo artist in the United Kingdom with “Havana.”

Cabello beats her previous best, the runner-up spot, on the U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100 with 2016’s “Work From Home” when she was a member of Fifth Harmony.

“Havana” finished the chart week nearly 4,000 combined units ahead of “Rockstar” by Post Malone featuring 21 Savage, which falls to No. 2 after four weeks at the top.

Camila Cabello is making waves across the pond…

After three weeks in the runner-up position, the 20-year-old Cuban singer has the U.K. chart crown in her sights.

Cabello’s hit “Havana” climbs 2-1 on the midweek chart, with a 3,500 combined sales lead over the second-placed “Rockstar” by Post Malone featuring 21 Savage, which is unseated from the chart throne after four weeks. It’s the first time that “Havana” has led the Official Chart Update.

Meanwhile, Marshmello and Khalid’s “Silence” is unchanged at No. 3, Avicii and Rita Ora’s collab “Lonely Together” is unmoved at No. 4 and Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” rises one place to No. 5.

Rita Ora could snaffle a second top 10 when the Official U.K. Singles Chart is published this Friday as “Anywhere” leaps 20-6, just up from Charlie Puth’s “How Long,” which follows a similar trajectory by soaring 18-7.

Marshmello, meanwhile, backs up his “Silence” hit with “Wolves,” a collaboration with Selena Gomez which bites into the chart at No. 14 for the highest debut on the current midweek survey.

Cardi B Among Artists Taking Part in Roc Nation’s Hurricane Relief Fundraiser

Cardi B’s autograph will soon help people affected by this year’s hurricanes…

Roc Nation plans to raise money for the victims of the recent hurricanes that swept through Texas, Florida and the Caribbean, and they’ve called upon the 24-year-old part-Dominican American rapper to help.

The label management company has reportedly teamed up with One America Appeal and CharityBuzz, to host an auction of memorabilia from this year’s Made In America Festival signed by Cardi B, JAY-Z, J.Cole and more.

The pieces up for auction, are reportedly camouflage jackets that have the official, celebrity seal of approval on them. The Rocky jacket, which is estimated to be worth $3,000, includes handwritten signatures from JAY-Z, Migos, J. Cole and Pusha T. Other jackets – Liberty, Freedom, and Tidal – will boast signatures from Cardi B, Vic Mensa, 21 Savage, Run the Jewels and Stormzy.
