Shakira Tops Best Dressed List at the Latin Grammys…

It may be considered the grandest night to showcase and recognize the incredible talent in Latin music… But the Latin Grammy Awards have also become a style showcase for some of the brightest stars en el mundo Hispano

Before last night’s awards show at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay, the stars shone bright as they strutted down the green carpet.

Here’s a look at the night’s best-dressed celebrities:

Shakira on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Shakira
It’s no wonder she’s this year’s Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year… Every thing Shakira touches turns to gold! And, the Colombian singer/songwriter, who picked up a Latin Grammy for best female pop vocal album for “Sale el Sol,” looked oh-so-golden and gorgeous in this bejeweled princess gown with fitted bodice and flowing train.

Sofia Vergara on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Sofia Vergara
She topped the best-dressed list at this year’s Emmy Awards… And the Colombian bombshell is in top form again. The “Modern Family” star looked stunning in a silver embroidered Reem Acra strapless gown that showed off her enviable assets. And, she paired the show-stopping dress with bling from her own jewelry collection for Kmart.

Zoe Saldana on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Zoe Saldana
Saldana must’ve left onlookers green with envy! The half-Dominican, half-Puerto Rican actress traded in the Avatar blue, for Kelly green at this year’s Latin Grammys. And, she looked nothing but magnificent in this cap-sleeved, sequined Elie Saab gown.

Shaila Durcal on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Shaila Durcal
To quote the title of her latest album released this week, “Asíse hace!  (That’s how it’s done!). The Mexican singer channels the classic style and elegance of the Roaring Twenties in this gold-and-graphic sequined gown and finger wave hairstyle.

Demi Lovato on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Demi Lovato
She may only be 19, but Lovato wasn’t afraid to show her mature side. The part-Mexican singer and actress donned a cleavage-baring magenta Roland Mouret sleeved gown with pure confidence on the green carpet—proving the “Skyscraper” singer is well past her Disney days!

Chiquinquira Delgado on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Chiquinquira Delgado
The ¡Despierta América! host gives a little razzle-dazzle in the arrivals area. Before taking the stage to present an award, the Venezuelan beauty had jaws dropping in this gorgeous gold, one-sleeved gown.

Adrienne Bailon on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Adrienne Bailon
The former “Cheetah Girl,” who earlier this week showed off her dance moved on Univision’s Mira quién baila, played a sexy game of peek-a-boo in this oh-so-hot herringbone plaid gown with cutout sides.

Paulina Rubio on the Latin Grammys Green Carpet

Paulina Rubio
The Mexican singer—who took the stage to perform with Los Tigres del Norte during the show in a leg-baring sequined outit—covered up on the green carpet. But that didn’t stop her from sparkling in a metallic silver cutout gown that featured peplum detailing.

So who do you think was the best-dressed beauty at last night’s Latin Grammys?

Bailon’s High-Octane Dance on “Mira quién baila”

There’s no denying Adrienne Bailon knows how to shake her groove thing…or that she could easily be a contestant on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

The former Cheetah Girl strutted her stuff during a high-energy performance on Univision’s Mira quién baila—a dance competition similar to Dancing with the Stars.

Adrienne Baillon

The 28-year-old half Puerto Rican/half Ecuadorian singer/actress/dancer may not have belted out a song, but she definitely shook her bon bon during her appearance. Backed by a crew of male dancers, the former star of Disney’s The Cheetah Girls movies—dressed in a black leather jumpsuit and rhinestone-covered harness—descended from a swing before bustin’ a move on the dance floor.

After her performance, the former member of the girl group 3LW talked about her  career with the show’s hosts, including being discovered by Ricky Martin.

Bailon, who appears in Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” video, says she’s a huge fan of the show. But she remain tight-lipped about who she’s hoping wins the title.

Contestants still in the hunt are Puerto Rican telenovela star Adamari Lopez, Puerto Rican American actor Erik Estrada and Mexican-American actress/model Elizabeth Gutiérrez.
