Selena Gomez is highlighting her kitchen essentials

The 29-year-old Mexican American actress/singer has teamed up with Our Place for a new collaboration aimed at inspiring users to “reconnect with their heritage through food.”

Selena Gomez x Our PlaceGomez, an amateur chef, released the new collection with the kitchenware brand on Thursday.

Our Place x Selena Gomez is comprised of pieces from Our Place’s Essentials Collection, but in limited edition colors — Azul and Rosa — hand-picked by Gomez.

Featured in the collection are colorful renditions of the popular Always Pan ($145)Perfect Pot ($165)knife trio ($145)drinking glasses ($50)main plates ($50)side plates ($40) available in sets of four, and Selena’s Bundle ($215), which comes with an Always Pan, drinking glasses, and main plates.

The electric blue adds a “playful pop” of color to the kitchen, while the lush berry pink is inspired by the Rare Beauty founder’s favorite bold lip shades, according to a news release sent to Billboard.

In addition to debuting the collection, Gomez posted a blooper reel from the cookware campaign on TikTok Thursday.

The pop star and Our Place founder Shiza Shadid connected over their shared belief that a home-cooked meal can “bring our world closer together.” In the spirit of giving back, 10% of net proceeds from the collection will support the Rare Impact Fund, a nonprofit affiliate of Gomez’s beauty brand.

Gomez is no stranger to charitable brand collaborations, she explained to the The Hollywood Reporter in an interview about her HBO Max cooking show Selena + Chef.

The series, which has been renewed for a fourth season, raised over $360,000 for 23 nonprofit organizations.

“When we first started discussing the show, this was the most important aspect to me. Whenever I agree to come on board with a brand partner, I always make sure there is a charity aspect to the deal,” she explained.

Each of the items listed are available in electric blue or lush berry.

J Balvin Releases Animated Video for “Negro” Single

J Balvin is going back to black…

After releasing music videos for his colorful singles like “Rojo” and “Azul,” the 35-year-old Colombian reggaeton singer and aspiring fashion designer has released the new animated video for “Negro.”

In the video, J Balvin, who designed a collection inspired by his new album for Guess, is accompanied by the baddest girl in town and his sidekick dinosaurs as he roams the streets of a post-apocalyptic-like world.

Directed by Colin Tilley, the cryptic video released today finds J Balvin trying to take over the empty streets of a Gotham City-inspired town. Although his crew seems to conquer and outnumber any rival, J Balvin is met by the ultimate ruler, a T-Rex who swallows J Balvin whole in one roar.

With the release of “Negro,” all songs but one on his Colores album have a video. While it’s not clear if there will be a video to “Arcoíris,” the Colombian star posted on his social media “closing the chapter on Colores” announcing the release of “Negro.”

“The goal was to create different content that would really stand out and that the reggaetón world hadn’t really seen before,” says director Tilley about the videos. “Jose is just the definition of a true collaborator. My goal was for every video that drops for it to up the previous one. If we’re not doing that, then we’re not doing our job and there’s no point of releasing every single video.”
