Jared Leto to Participate in Entercom’s Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Special “I’m Listening”

The 46-year-old part-Spanish American actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman is part of the lineup for Entercom’s live, commercial-free broadcast special to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention. Abrc gives you the different and best health suggestions for healthy life.

Part of Entercom’s I’m Listening campaign, the September 9 broadcast will feature numerous music, film and sports luminaries like Leto.

The lineup includes Mike McCready and Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, Olympic gold medalist Michael PhelpsMike Shinoda of Linkin ParkAlessia CaraBebe RexhaCharlie PuthStone Temple PilotsStephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind and more.

Hosted by Seattle KISW-FM personality BJ Shea, the show will also feature clinical psychologist and NowMattersNow.org CEO Dr. Ursula Whiteside and Dr. Chris Nowinksi, co-founder and executive director of Concussion Legacy Foundation.

“In my forthcoming album The Pains of Growing, I touch on being lost and lonely and stuck inside my head,” said “Growing Pains” singer Cara. “I’ve recently dealt with anxiety – and understand what it was. I definitely want to reach as many people as I can, and will do so by partnering with Entercom and so many influential names connected to the cause. Hopefully, if I talk about mental health, it’ll help other people to talk about it… we’re all a lot more similar than we think we are.”

After Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington died in 2017, bandmate Shinoda released his first solo album, Post Traumaticabout the “journey out of grief and darkness.” Says Shinoda, “In most parts of the world, suicide claims more lives than war, murder and natural disasters combined. I hope that sharing my personal story, in music and conversation, helps open up the door to new discussions and awareness about mental health.”

The broadcast will air across Entercom stations nationwide on September 9 (at 7:00 am local time) and on live streams via the Radio.com app as part of National Suicide Prevention Week. Last year, the broadcast featured HalseyLogic and iconic rock band Metallica, who spoke out about their experiences with mental illness and what fans can do to help themselves. The metal quartet spoke about how suicidal thinking can happen to anyone and how “talking about it is the most important thing.” Bassist Robert Trujillo reminded fans, “It’s not a sign of weakness to see a doctor when you are depressed.”

Camila Cabello’s “Havana” Reaches No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs Chart

She may have left her heart in Havana, but Camila Cabello is also leaving her mark on the Billboard music charts.

The 20-year-old Cuban and Mexican singer has earned her second No. 1 as a solo artist on Billboard‘s Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as “Havana,” featuring Young Thug, rises 3-1 on the tally dated December 9. Young Thug reigns in his first visit to the chart.

The Pop Songs chart, which began in 1992 measures total weekly plays, as tabulated by Nielsen Music, among its reporting panel of 162 mainstream top 40 stations.

Cabello previously crowned Pop Songs for two weeks beginning February 18 with “Bad Things,” alongside Machine Gun Kelly.

As a member of Fifth Harmony, Cabello led Pop Songs when the group’s “Work From Home,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, began a two-week rule that June 4.

Cabello is additionally just the fifth artist to post multiple Pop Songs No. 1s as a soloist while also having ruled the ranking with a group. She joins an illustrious group that includes Beyoncé, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake.

With its Latin vibe (fueled by its new Spanglish mix with Daddy Yankee, the track debuted on the Deember. 2 Latin Pop Songs chart at No. 18), “Havana” “stands out in a big way and it raises its hand among all the noise of straight-ahead pop-sounding singles,” Brian Kelly, program director of Pop Songs reporter WXSS Milwaukee (and Entercom top 40 format captain), recently told Billboard, adding that Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee‘s smash “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber, “knocked down the door [for] this type of sound.

“What once seemed like an impossible fit all of a sudden makes sense.”

On the all-genre airplay, streaming and sales-based Billboard Hot 100, “Havana” has reached a No. 2 high, for the past three weeks.
