Ramos to Star in the Indie Film “Slash”

Sarah Ramos is slashing her way through Hollywood…

The 24-year-old part-Latina American actress has joined the cast of the indie comedy Slash.

Sarah Ramos

Directed by Clay Liford, who also wrote the screenplay, the coming of age drama focuses on a teenage erotic fan fiction author. The title is a reference to the fan fiction genre that imagines sexual relationships between fictional characters who aren’t canonically an item (think Captain Kirk/Spock or Spider-Man/Batman).

Ramos will star opposite Michael Johnston, Hannah Marks, Michael Ian Black, Missi Pyle, Peter Vack, Jessie Ennis and Matt Peters in the film.

Ramos, who most recently starred on NBC’s Parenthood, appeared on American Dreams, Scrubs, Close to Home, Ghost Whisperer, Law & Order, Wizards of Waverly Place, Without a Trace and Lie to Me.
