“What We Do In The Shadows” Star Harvey Guillén to Host “After the Shadows” Social Media Talk Show

There’s a little extra Shadows play in Harvey Guillén’s future…

The 31-year-old Mexican American actor and What We Do In The Shadows scene-stealer will host After The Shadows, a pre-taped, social media talk show kicking off at 11:00 pm PT immediately after the series’ season 3 premiere on September 2.

The episodes will be available via TheShadowsFX on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, as well on FX’s official YouTube channel.

Guillén, who portrays Guillermo De La Cruz on the FX series, will chat with cast, crew, and celebrity fans to discuss their love of the show and to share insight into the making of season 3.

The initial guest list includes Shadows stars Kayvan Novak and Kristen Schaal, as well as Anthony Atamanuik, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and set decorator Shayne Fox, with more to be announced.

New episodes of After the Shadows will be available immediately after subsequent episodes of the show throughout the season.

The two-episode season 3 premiere begins at 10:00 pm ET/PT with “The Prisoner” and “The Cloak of Duplication.”

Fans will finally found out what happened after the events of the season 2 finale that saw Guillermo kick vampire butt to save his ungrateful roommates. Will he finally embrace his familial connection to Van Helsing or will he keep begging after Nandor to turn him?

Returning series stars include Novak, Matt Berry, Mark Proksch, and Natasia Demetriou.

Fox has renewed its comedy series The Last Man on Earth, starring the 43-year-old Latino actor, for a fourth season.

Last Man On Earth, a comedy about the life and adventures of the last man on the planet, was created by Will Forte, who stars alongside Kristen SchaalJanuary Jones, Rodriguez, who portrays Tony, Mary Steenburgen and Cleopatra Coleman.

Forte, Christopher Miller, Phil Lord, Seth Cohen, Andrew Bobrow and Erik Durbin executive produce.

Fox Renews Rodriguez’s “The Last Man On Earth” for a Third Season

Fox has renewed its comedy series The Last Man On Earth, starring the 42-year-old Latino actor, for a third season.

The series, created by and starring Saturday Night Live alum Will Forte, has been a modest linear television performer, but is strong in online/SVOD viewing.

The Last Man On Earth, produced by 20th Century Fox Television, is a post-apocalyptic comedy that centers on Phil Miller (Forte), who is living on Earth after a virus wiped out nearly the entire population in 2019.

Rodriguez, who starred on HBO’s Getting On, portrays Todd on the series.

In addition to Rodriguez and Forte, the series also stars Kristen Schaal and January Jones.

Rodriguez’s previous television credits include AMCs Better Call Saul and Fox’s Running Wilde and Enlisted.

The straight-to-series project, whose pilot episode will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, chronicles the life and adventures of an average guy (Forte) – and humanity’s last hope – who discovers what life is like when no one is telling you what you can and cannot do.

Rodriguez, who most recently starred in HBO’s Getting On, will play the always optimistic Todd.

In addition to Forte and Rodriguez, the series will also star Mad Men’s January Jones, Kristen Schaal (Flight of the Conchords) and Cleopatra Coleman (Step Up Revolution).

The 49-year-old half-Peruvian American actor returns as Manny in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, the 3D animated film that saw it’s latest trailer released this week.

It’s not gigantic foods but living “foodimals” that plague the heroes of Sony’s sequel to 2009′s hit Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.

Along with Bratt, who portrays Sam’s Guatemalan cameraman and a former doctor, co-pilot, and comedian, the film’s voice cast includes Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Neil Patrick Harris, Terry Crews, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, Kristen Schaal and James Caan.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller wrote and directed the first pic, a $243M global smash, before passing the reins to new helmers Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 opens in theaters on September 27.

Madrigal to Perform at the “Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival”

Al Madrigal is preparing to a bring a little comedy & curiosity to several cities in the United States.

The 41-year-old Latino stand-up comedian and actor is set to appear at Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival.

Along with Madrigal, the 13-city comedy tour – sponsored by LiveNation – will include comedy routines from Dave Chappelle, Flight of the Conchords, Brody Steven, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney, and Kristen Schaal.

The Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival will run from August 23 to September 22.
