Gomez: The New Face of Coach

The 24-year-old Mexican-American actress/singer, who recently was named favorite pop/rock female artist at the American Music Awards, has been named in the new face of Coach.

As part of the deal, Gomez will work on a special design project with creative director Stuart Vevers, according to the singer.

“I am so excited to work with Coach and love the clothes and accessories designed by Stuart Vevers. I am especially looking forward to getting to know the Coach team as well as becoming involved in the Foundation’s support of Step Up,” Gomez said in a statement. “On top of all that, collaborating on a piece with Stuart for next fall makes this beyond special to me.”

Gomez reportedly signed a $10 million deal with the label, according to Page Six.

“The woman I design for is authentic, honest and possesses a romantic charm mixed with a cool, confident attitude. Selena embodies all of these qualities perfectly — but the fact that she has always loved Coach, and believed so strongly in our philanthropic mission, made her a true Coach Girl,” said Vevers.

The singer was most recently spotted wearing a Coach vintage car tee.

With the partnership, Coach is tapping into one of the world’s most influential figures (with 103 million Instagram followers, making her the most-followed on the photo-sharing platform) to draw in younger fans and to help revamp the 75-year-old brand.

Gomez has previously served as a brand ambassador for Pantene, as well as designed collections for Adidas NEO.

The 22-year-old half-Mexican American actress/singer has been named the newest spokesperson for Pantene.

The new role, which the former Disney Channel star announced on Monday morning via  her social media platforms, is her latest endorsement deal.

In the past, Gomez has also worked with brands like Adidas Neo and Kmart, as well as served as a UNICEF ambassador.

In an effort to promote the #SelenaXPantene hashtag, Gomez shared a short promo video and a photos of herself getting the Pantene glam treatment via Instagram, touting her “baby hairs.”

Gomez, one of the most bankable stars in music and film, has a combined 120 million followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, She’s the latest Latina spokesperson hired by a global beauty brand. Pantene previously hired actress Eva Mendes as its spokesperson in 2011.

Gomez’s appeal transcends her Latina roots, making her a perfect global ambassador.

On the music front, Gomez teased her new singleGood For You” over the weekend, announcing that it will arrive on June 22.

Gomez Launches New Summer Collection with Adidas NEO

The 21-year-old half-Mexican American actress/singer has officially launched her new Summer 2014 collection with Adidas NEO.

The “Come And Get It” singer and NEO first teamed up back in July 2013 for a fall collection. Now the two have united again on a new Adidas NEO campaign.

In the new ads Gomez rocks a sleeveless striped tank top and black legging look that seems to say, “Yeah, I’m preppy, so what are you going to do about it?”

The collection is called “Summer Rebel.”

“I love playing around with fashion and like clothes that are fun, easy to wear and comfortable,” Gomez said in a release. “My collection has a ‘rock chic’ theme and it’s confident, rebellious and fun. It’s also a little bit darker and I think it encourages girls to put their own stamp on their individuality and show confidence in what they are wearing”

The line also includes fun florals, dip-dyed ombre tanks, high-waisted shorts, bouncy prints, wedge sneakers and ballet flats.

Gomez’s new line even features a pair of metallic pink hi-top sneakers that sell for a $65.

Gomez Appears in Adidas NEO’s Spring/Summer 2014 Ad Campaign

Selena Gomez is sportin’ some serious style in her latest Adidas NEO campaign.

The 21-year-old half-Mexican singer/actress, who was named the spokesperson for the Adidas NEO label in late 2012, looks fabulous in the just-released images from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 campaign.

“My new collection is so playful and packed with prints,” Gomez said in a statement. “It’s all about switching it up and finding your individual style. You can mix and match styles and looks to really have fun with the pieces and create a rock rebel look all of your own.”

For the campaign, Gomez guest-designed the 28-piece fashion collection, which features a rock rebel-theme of clothing, accessories, and footwear.

Gomez Becomes Adidas NEO’s New Spokesperson

The 20-year-old half-Mexican American singer/actress has signed on to serve as the new spokesperson for the Adidas NEO label, one of the company’s most fashionable and fun brands.

As part of the deal, Gomez will be the brand’s new global style icon and guest designer for three years, until the end of 2015.

Gomez will take her girl-power infused style and work with NEO to design and develop special collections for each season, beginning with fall/winter 2013. She’ll also appear in print, digital, retail and outdoor campaigns, the first of which will launch in February 2013.

The former Disney Channel star has already “let her NEO out” in a new video for the brand that shows her and other teens running through the streets of Los Angeles, painting the town neon green.

“It is a great partnership for me because NEO really cares about style and having fun with fashion and allowing you to be yourself,” said Gomez in a statement. “This is something that’s always been important to me and is important to my fans, too: knowing they can express themselves through wearing whatever clothes they want and feel good about themselves.”

Adidas chief marketing officer Hermann Deininger said that he is “thrilled” to be partnering with Gomez.

“Teens everywhere admire her natural and enduring sense of fashion and style as well as her compelling charisma and warmth.”

Gomez joins Adidas NEO’s other global style icon, ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, whose contract with the brand was announced last month. Bieber also starred in his very own video, and has already released a pair of customized gold NEO sneakers. Although it may seem like an odd coincidence, both pop sensations have massive teen followings and seem like good fits for the Adidas brand.
