The uptempo beat in the urban song turns the pop tune into a danceable reggaetón hit.

“Qué gano olvidándote” ft. the reggaetón duo is now available on all digital platforms.

The Mexican trio also debuted the music video on Friday, filmed in Miami and directed by Mike Ho, Jessy Terrero and Santiago Salviche.

Reik’s first foray into the urban genre was their remixed single “Ya me enteré,” featuring Nicky Jam.

“We felt that we needed to make things a bit more fun, different and interesting,” Reik’s frontman Jesús Alberto Navarro Rosas told Billboard in a previous interview. The collaboration peaked at No. 3 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart.

Up next, Reik will perform at the Latin Grammys on November 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The pop trio’s Des/Amor is up for a Latin Grammy under the category best contemporary pop album.

The upbeat and catchy lyrics play off of the track’s title as the seductive song is sung half in English and half in Spanish.

“I’m a little mad and crazy for your love. Sueño, sueño con tus besos todo el tiempo. I’m so taken by the way you make me lose control. We’re from different worlds I know, pero si está bien contigo amor, dale, let’s go dancing all this love.”

The release comes days after Reik dropped the remix to their hit single “Ya me enteré featuring Nicky Jam.

“Spanglish” is the third single to their upcoming album Des/Amor due June 17.

The Mexican trio’s frontman, Jesús Navarro, told Billboard that the new album is “very different from anything else we’ve done. Obviously we still have our ballad songs but have tracks that have a reggae feeling to it and our first urban song featuring Nicky Jam.”

The urban remix of the romantic tune was released on Fridat, just in time for the unofficial start of the summer season.

The upbeat track was produced by Saga WhiteBlack and recorded in Medellín, Colombia.

“Ya me enteré” ft. Nicky Jam will be part of the Mexican pop band’s upcoming album Des/Amor due June 17.

The band’s frontman, Jesús Navarro told Billboard back in April that their new LP was all about “risk-taking” and “getting out of their comfort zone.”

Recording an urban version of one of their songs is a first for the trio known for their love ballads.

“I met Nicky Jam in Mexico and he told me that most of his songs start out as ballads and that made me very curious. We started talking about writing something together and while we were writing, I showed him ‘Ya me enteré’ and he thought it was amazing.”
