Mel Rodriguez is ready to innovate

The 51-year-old Cuban American actor has signed with Innovative Artists Entertainment for representation in all areas.

Mel Rodriguez,Most recently, Rodriguez was seen recurring on Shonda RhimesNetflix series The Residence as White House engineer Bruce Geller, a deceptively central figure in the show’s murder mystery.

The actor is perhaps best known for his role as Todd on Fox’s Emmy-nominated comedy The Last Man on Earth, which ran for four seasons.

Rodriguez first came to prominence for his Critics Choice-nominated performance on HBO’s Getting On, alongside Laurie Metcalf and Niecy Nash. He was a series regular on the Netflix animated series Carol & The End of the World, as well as Showtime’s On Becoming a God in Central Florida, and appeared as Marco Pasternak on AMC’s Better Call Saul.

In film, Rodriguez’s credits include MGM/UA’s Overboard, as well as Fat, writer-director Mark Phinney’s film in which he stars as Ken, a food-addicted man struggling with getting his life in order.

Bobby Soto Signs with Innovative Artists Entertainment

Bobby Soto has new representation…

The 38-year-old Puerto Rican and Mexican American actor has signed with Innovative Artists Entertainment for talent, lit, comedy and crossover representation.

Bobby SotoSoto most recently appeared in the Amazon feature film, A Million Miles Away, starring opposite Michael Peña and Rosa Salazar.

From director Alejandra Marquez Abella, the bio-drama tells the real-life story of José M. Hernández, a Mexican American astronaut who was formerly a migrant farm worker.

The project is available to stream via Prime Video.

Before that, Soto starred in the Disney/Searchlight feature film, Flamin’ Hot, directed by Eva Longoria.

As part of the ensemble cast, Soto traveled to Washington, D.C., for a special screening of Flamin’ Hot for the President of the United States, Joe Biden, and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, both of whom hosted the celebration.

On the television front, Soto recently appeared in CBS’ FBI: International, and Seasons 1 and 2 of the Netflix hit crime drama, Narcos: Mexico, created and developed by Jose Padilha and Eric Newman.

His additional film credits include The Listener with Tessa Thompson and director Steve Buscemi, and Scott Teems’ The Quarry, opposite Michael Shannon and Shea Whigham.

Soto played the lead of David Ayer’s film The Tax Collector opposite Shia LaBeouf, which takes Ayer back to his film roots of End of Watch and Training Day.
