Charlie Sheen to Star in the New Hollywood Dramedy Series “Ramble On”

The 56-year-old part-Spanish American actor and former Two and a Half Men star will be heading back to television.

Charlie SheenHe has partnered with Entourage creator Doug Ellin for Ramble On, a new dramedy series set in Hollywood.

The series will star Sheen and Entourage’s Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillon as themselves as Hollywood veterans looking to reinvent their voices alongside up and comers looking to establish their own.

It will also feature Sheen’s father Martin Sheen, Kimiko Glenn, Bre-Z, John C. McGinley, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Zulay Henao, Mark Cuban, James Hiroyuki Liao, Harvey Guillén, Ana Ortiz, Sara Sanderson, Mikaela Hoover and Adam Waheed with a guest appearance by Entourage alum Emmanuelle Chriqui.

Ramble On is produced by Angry Lunch, a new production company founded by Ellin and Ted Foxman, in association with Action Park Media. The pair will executive produce alongside Gary Goldman with Jeremy Alter producing.

A pilot episode, which is being financed by Foxman and Ellin, wrapped this week. The producers are in talks with buyers for the show but could also look at new ways of distribution.

“This idea has been spinning in my head for years and seeing it come to life is incredible,” said Ellin. “I feel beyond grateful that so many of my Entourage crew and cast members, along with some of the most talented, comedic forces in the industry, have joined us on this exciting new journey.  We cannot wait to share this with the world.”

Jamie-Lynn Sigler to Star on Season Two of ABC’s Drama Series “Big Sky”

The 40-year-old half-Cuban American actress and former The Sopranos star will appear on the second season of ABC’s popular drama series Big Sky.

Sigler, who will appear in a key role, will appear alongside cast newcomers Madelyn Kientz, Troy Johnson, Lola Reid, Jeremy Ray Taylor, TV Carpio and Arturo Del Puerto (Camping).

In Season 2 of the David E. Kelley series based on the books by C.J. Box, when private detectives Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) and Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick) reunite to investigate a car wreck outside of Helena, Montana, they soon discover that the case might not be as straightforward as it seems. As they unravel the mystery of the accident, their worlds will collide with a band of unsuspecting teens, a flirtatious face from Jenny’s past and a vicious outsider hellbent on finding answers.

Cast also includes series regulars Janina Gavankar, Brian Geraghty and Dedee Pfeiffer as well as Omar Metwally and Anja Savcic, who have been promoted from recurring to regulars for Season 2, and Jesse James Keitel, a series regular in season 1 who will recur in Season 2.

Sigler will play Tonya, who works as a waitress at a local diner. She and her boyfriend have big plans, that is until he mysteriously disappears. Tonya hires the services of Dewell & Hoyt to find her boyfriend, but she is withholding some secrets of her own. Like all of the women in this town, it would be unwise to underestimate Tonya.

Del Puerto will play T-Lock, Rachel’s ne’er-do-well boyfriend, oozing with entrepreneurial self-confidence, especially when it comes to his myriad of “get-rich-quick” opportunities. Though he can be a loose cannon, and leeches money off a begrudging Max behind her mother’s back, T-Lock genuinely loves Rachel.

Big Sky, produced by 20th Century Fox Television and A+E Studios, is moving production to Rio Rancho, NM, for Season 2 from Vancouver, where the first season was shot.

Sigler, known for her role as Meadow Soprano in HBO’s The Sopranos, was recently seen in Lifetime movie The Neighbor In The Window, and will next be seen on the big screen in a starring role in Sonia Sebastian’s The Virgin of Highland Park. She also recently voiced Rebeca on Disney Jr.’s Elena of Avalor.

Del Puerto was recently seen in HBO’s limited series Camping opposite Jennifer Garner, Juliette Lewis, and David Tennant, and also was recently seen in Apple’s For All Mankind. His film credits include Independence Day: Resurgence, Universal’s Ride Along 2 and CHIPS.

Jamie Lynn-Sigler to Star in ABC’s Medical Drama Pilot “Triage”

The 39-year-old half-Cuban American actress has been cast as a series regular opposite Parisa Fitz-Henley and Michael Ealy in Triage, ABC’s second cycle medical drama pilot from David Cornue, Erica Messer, Jon M. Chu and 20th Century Fox Television.

Created by Cornue, Triage is a character-driven medical drama that follows pioneering surgeon Finley Briar (Fitz-Henley) over three distinct decades at the same hospital. With the evolution of medicine as the backdrop, the show explores the interconnected careers, friendships and romances of Finley and her colleagues, and their tenuous relationship with time.

Sigler will play Dr. Elisa Jeffers, a no-nonsense New Yorker and Finley Briar’s (Fitz-Henley) best friend and roommate.

Chu will executive produce and direct.

Sigler, best known for her role as Meadow Soprano on The Sopranos, recurred for two seasons on HBO’s Entourage and was a series regular on NBC’s Guys With Kids.

She just booked a starring role in the new Eric Wareheim and Tim Heidecker Adult Swim series, Beef House.

On the feature side, she starred in Gangster Land and will be seen opposite Penelope Ann Miller in indie feature All The Leaves Have Fallen.

Part of the network’s true story-based Ripped from the Headlines slate for 2020, the movie centers on a suburban wife who finds herself and the security of her family threatened by another seemingly friendly neighborhood mom.

The Neighbor in the Window will premiere at 8:00 pm ET on February 8.

Sigler to Star in the Period Western “Justice”

The 34-year-old half-Cuban American actress and former The Sopranos star has been cast in in Justice, a period Western to be directed by Richard Gabai.

Set in 1868, the action adventure film centers on an old abandoned mine that’s being transformed into a military stronghold by a corrupt mayor and a band of bloodthirsty outlaws hell-bent on re-energizing the just-ended Civil War. When a U.S. Marshal comes to town and finds out that his brother has been murdered, his search for the killer takes him on a life-or-death struggle for a much greater cause.

Sigler’s co-stars include Robert Carradine, Stephen Lang, Ellen Hollman and John Lewis.

Lewis and Shawn Justice wrote the script, and principal photography kicks off next week at Bonanza Creek Ranch in Albuquerque.

Sigler’s previous credits include appearances on CSI Cyber, Dads and Last Man Standing.

Sigler will play Abby, a strong, confident, attractive, smart, sports analyst on Mitch’s Fantasy Football league show. Caan plays an ex-legendary football player/coach who also is working on the show. Williams plays Mitch’s new boss.

Sigler Expecting Her First Child with Baseball Pro Beau

The 31-year-old half-Cuban American actress, who recently announced her engagement with Cutter Dykstra, is expecting her first child with the pro baseball player.

Sigler announced her pregnancy on Tuesday and her representative confirmed the baby news later.

“The pregnancy was a shock. She just told the cast and crew of Guys (her NBC series Guys With Kids),” a source told Life & Style.

Sigler’s news comes just two weeks after the former The Sopranos actress announced her engagement to the Washington Nationals infielder in late January.

“She couldn’t be more excited! Jamie can’t wait to be a mom,” said an insider.

Sigler and Dykstra have been dating for nearly a year and they took their relationship public in March 2012.

“It’s hard for me to find a sound bite about Cutter. I think the one thing I could say and the only thing I will say is that I would wish for any girl in the world to find their Cutter,” Sigler said about Cutter after they got engaged.

Sigler and Cutter have yet to announce their wedding date. She was previously married to A.J. Scala, but they separated in 2005 and divorced later.

The 31-year-old half-Cuban American actress is engaged to pro-baseball beau Cutter Dykstra, she announced Monday on her Instagram account.

“So this just happened….,” wrote the former Entourage actress, followed by two hearts and a photo with a shocked looked on her face, showing off her sparkly engagement ring while seated next to her fiancé.

“She said yes!!!” tweeted Dykstra, who currently plays for the Washington Nationals organization.

Sigler, who previously dated New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and her former Entourage costar Jerry Ferrara, was previously married to A.J. DiScala.

Garcia Expecting Her First Child

“So happy to finally be able to share our news!” tweeted the 33-year-old half Cuban American actress on November 12 about starting a family with husband Nick Swisher. “Nick and I are expecting our first baby in 2013! Feeling so blessed and beyond excited!”

“Words can’t describe how blessed we feel to be expanding our family and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new addition,” wrote the happy couple. “Your support and kindness has meant so much to us throughout the years and we wanted to personally share the news with you all.”

Garcia, who most recently appeared on NBC’s short-lived series Animal Practice, and Swisher, 31, got hitched in December 2010 after a seven-month engagement. The star-studded wedding party included Reba McEntire, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Lance Bass.

Garcia’s television credits include Reba, Privileged, Gossip Girl, Better With You and Freaks and Geeks.

Until recently, Swisher was the right fielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees; he is currently a free agent after declining a $13.3 million one-year qualifying offer from the team.
