Maluma to Launch Global Tour After Signing New Partnership with Fénix Entertainment

Maluma is preparing for a global trek…

The 32-year-old Colombian singer/songwriter will be going on a world tour in 2027 and 2028 after signing a new global partnership with Fénix Entertainment, according to Billboard.

MalumaThe news follows the May release of Loco X Volver, Maluma’s seventh studio album, which returned the superstar to his Colombian roots, and this upcoming trek — his first since the Don Juan Tour in 2023-24 — will take him across the globe.

Dates and venues for the tour will be announced at a later date.

Maluma’s partnership with Fénix Entertainment — the Argentina-based production company behind live entertainment, media and more — “will mark the next evolution of his ever-growing career,” a press release says.

The partnership will oversee the global strategy and development for the artist’s next international tour.

“Working with an artist with Maluma’s career and international reach is both a challenge and an enormous responsibility,” says Marcelo Figoli, founder and president of Fénix Entertainment. “We believe in his vision, his talent, and the exciting moment he is experiencing in his career. We are incredibly proud to be part of this new chapter and to put our team and experience behind a project of this scale.”

Fénix has worked with some of the biggest names in Latin music over its 35 years in the industry, including Luis Miguel, Ricardo Arjona, Ricardo Montaner and now Maluma, while also developing strategic partnerships with Shakira across multiple markets.

Since the 2012 release of his debut album Magia, Maluma has been making an impact in Latin music and beyond. In the decade-plus since, he’s landed five albums on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and seven on the Top Latin Albums chart, including a trio of No. 1s: 2015’s Pretty Boy Dirty Boy, 2018’s F.A.M.E. and 2019’s 11:11. His latest album, May’s Loco X Volver, has spun off two Tropical Airplay chart-toppers so far: “1+1,” with Kany García, and “Tu Recuerdo.”

In June, Maluma unveiled his new management team led by general manager Katherine Florez, who has been with his team since 2022. Enrique Narciso serves as Maluma’s business manager alongside WME handling booking and brand partnerships.

Maluma Earns Second No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay Chart with “Tu Recuerdo”

Maluma has added another chart-topper to his resume…

The 32-year-old Colombian singer/songwriter has earned another Billboard Tropical Airplay chart champ as “Tu Recuerdo” ascends 2-1 on the chart dated July 25, marking his fifth career leader and the second No. 1 from the album Loco X Volver.

MalumaThe champ, released on PARIS LG/Sony Music Latin, trades places with Romeo Santos and Prince Royce’s “Dardos,” as the latter slides to No. 2 after seven weeks in charge.

“Tu Recuerdo” is the second ruler from Maluma’s seventh studio album Loco X Volver, following “1+1,” with Kany García, which became his first salsa No. 1 among his five coronations on Tropical Airplay.

His featured turn on Elvis Crespo’s merengue Ole Brazil,” marked his first No. 1 on the tally in 2014.

“Tu Recuerdo” reaches No. 1 with 5.4 million audience impressions, up 6%, earned across the tropical-reporting stations in the United States during the tracking week ending July 16, according to Luminate.

The song is the second by a core Latin rhythmic artist to top Tropical Airplay in 2026, following Arcángel’s merengue cut “Hoy Se Guaya,” which led for a week in June.

Maluma becomes one of only three solo acts, with no accompanying billed artist, to reach No. 1 among the chart’s eight leaders this year, joining Arcángel and Carlos Vives, whose “Te Dedico” ruled for three weeks between May and June.

Beyond its Tropical Airplay success, “Tu Recuerdo” earns Maluma a 34th top 10 on the overall Latin Airplay chart, with a 13-10 jump.

The track also climbs to a new No. 2 high on Hot Tropical Songs and rises 40-37 on Hot Latin Songs. Both tallies combine radio airplay, streaming data and digital sales into their formulas.
