Snooki & JWoww Heading Back to the Jersey Shore?

She may be a mother now, but that isn’t stopping Snooki from revisiting her Jersey Shore beginning…

The 25-year-old Chilean American reality television personality and her co-star, fellow Latina JWoww, may return to their home base on the Jersey Show for the next installment of their spin-off series.

Snooki & JWoww

MTV hasn’t confirmed it yet, but town officials have revealed that the two will film the third season of Snooki & JWoww in two shore towns; at a home in the Pelican Island section of Berkeley and a residence in Seaside Heights.

Seaside Heights Business Administrator John A. Camera says the show’s producers, 495 Productions, have paid a $25 film permit fee for a “pretty light filming schedule at that address. It seems like it is a very small production and we are not looking at much need for security at this point.”

Some local residents aren’t too pleased that the women are back on the Jersey Shore. Berkeley Township Council President James Byrnes said, “We don’t even have time for this nonsense. We don’t need another distraction right now,” as the town continues to rebuild after being hit by Hurricane Sandy.

New mom Snooki has hit back at Byrnes, tweeting, “Don’t worry James Byrnes,we won’t be a ‘distraction’towards you&the community,i have a family just like everyone else that enjoys the shore.”

Resident Lori Tyska, who lives a block away from the Berkeley house, agreed with Byrnes, “It is crazy to do it here. … Many of us have just moved back to the area or are in the process of trying to get our homes rebuilt.” On the contrary, Laura Biondo stated, “I’m fine with it. We may have to check out what is going on down there.”

The new season of Snooki & JWoww will still follow Snooki as she continues motherhood and JWoww enjoying her engagement and preparing to head to the altar.

Carey Performs Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert in NYC’s Central Park

Mariah Carey sings for a good cause…

The 43-year-old half-Venezuelan singer performed for a large crowd in New York City’s Central Park this past weekend to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Despite doctor’s orders to rest after dislocating her shoulder several days earlier while shooting a music video, Carey entertained a crowd of more than 50,000 on Central Park’s Great Lawn.

Carey took the stage in a form-fitting white dress with her injured arm in a sling – draped in a matching white fur Gucci stole – to sing one of her greatest hits, “My All.”

The “#Beautiful” singer  – who was accompanied by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at the benefit concert, which was organized by Major League Baseball, or MLB

said it was an honor to be there with the New York Philharmonic before this “incredible” audience in order to help the people who were affected by the natural disaster.

“I love you madly, I love you madly,” she told the crowd, and said she was going to sing before it started to rain.

On the night of October 29, Hurricane Sandy and its winds that registered over 120 kph (75 mph) left a trail of death and destruction through New York with fatalities and thousands of homes destroyed or badly damaged, especially on Staten Island and the Rockaways.

Rodriguez Helps the Obamas Light the National Christmas Tree

Rico Rodriguez is helping the first family ring in the holiday season in Washington, DC…

The 14-year-old Modern Family star participated in the annual White House Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, alongside James Taylor, Babyface, Jason Mraz and Phillip Phillips.

Rico Rodriguez & Michelle Obama

Neil Patrick Harris hosted the annual ritual on the Ellipse adjacent to the White House, welcoming to the stage President Barack Obama, the first lady Michelle Obama and their daughters, Sasha and Malia. Shortly before 6:00 pm ET, the president led a countdown from five and pressed the button to light the large Christmas tree, complete with a yellow star on top.

Rodriguez later joined first lady Michelle Obama for a reading of the classic poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” (aka “The Night Before Christmas“). The actor joked that he hoped to join the Obama family in Hawaii for their holiday vacation.

The president noted that the White House has had three separate trees in the last three years.

“A longstanding tree was lost in a storm, then the replacement didn’t take hold — just goes to show nobody’s job is safe in Washington,” said Obama . “I feel good about this one. It was planted just days before Hurricane Sandy, and it made it in one piece.”

An estimated 17,000 people attended the event, according to the U.S. National Park Service.

Lima Impresses on This Year’s “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show”

Adriana Lima should be called a superwoman…

During last night’s televised Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the 31-year-old Brazilian supermodel strutted her stuff on the runway a mere two months after giving birth to her second daughter.

Lima made her grand entrance in scarlet lace lingerie during runway show, which was taped last month and broadcast on CBS on Tuesday night.

Along with Lima’s impressive comeback, the show’s highlights Rihanna rocking out in a lingerie-inspired look during her special performance of her single  “Fresh Out the Runway” at the end of the corset-and-garter parade, earning the audience’s biggest applause while holding her own on the same catwalk as some of the world’s top models.

Meanwhile, Alessandra Ambrosio‘s orchid-petal wings might have lacked a little pizzazz, but she made up for it by donning a $2.5 million jeweled “floral fantasy bra.”

“It’s highly televised, and you take that into consideration,” said model Joan Smalls ahead of the show. “This is kind of not the same as other runways. You have to prepare your body: No. 1 is the wings are heavy, and No. 2 is you have to be comfortable with your body because the camera will pick up on it if you’re not comfortable and confident.”

This year’s show was divided into six sections: Circus, complete with acrobats, contortionists and a sword eater; Dangerous Liaisons; Pink Is Us; Silver Screen Angels; Angels in Bloom; and Calendar Girls, which allowed Bruno Mars to serenade a model for each month of the year.

This year’s show included an announcement that Victoria’s Secret and CBS had each made a donation to relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy, as well as a thank you to the National Guard members based out of the Lexington Avenue Armory that has been home to the show for years.
