The 79-year-old half-Mexican American singer-songwriter has been named this year’s recipient of the Woody Guthrie Prize, in recognition of her “groundbreaking career and impact on humanitarian causes.”

Cardi B Collaborating with DJ Snake on New Single

Cardi B is slithering her way back into the studio…

The 25-year-old half-Dominican American rap sensation is joining voices with French producer DJ Snake.

Cardi B

Cardi B, who currently sits at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her smash “I Like It,” took to DJ Snake’s Facebook page earlier this week to share her excitement and further details.

There’s no information on the song title or the kind of vibe the chameleonic music man has concocted, but we do know Puerto Rican reggaeton trap singer Ozuna is also featured, and there’s some mystery guest collaborator that’s got Cardi B all excited, but she won’t spill the beans.

DJ Snake announced his forthcoming LP in May. He’s released a few tracks since then, including “Public Enemy” with Yellow Claw and “Let’s Get Ill” alongside his fellow Frenchman Mercer. No telling if those singles make the cut.
