Shakira Releases Official Music Video for Her Nicky Jam-Collaboration “Perro Fiel”

After many weeks of teasing her fans with short clips and pictures on social media, the 40-year-old Colombian superstar has released the official music video for her new single “Perro Fiel,” a collaboration with Nicky Jam.

The visual, directed by Jaume de Laiguana, who directed her “Rabiosa” and “La Bicicleta” videos, was filmed in Barcelona, and it’s all about both superstars having fun at a race track mixed with some scenes where Shakira appears very sexy and doing her dance moves, including instances of her in gold from neck to toe.

“Perro Fiel” is Shakira’s third single off her latest album El Dorado, which reached the No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart on the July 1 chart.

Shakira Collaborates with Pitbull on “Get It Started”

The wait is over… Shakira’s finally back with a new single… And, this time around she’s getting it started with Pitbull

The 35-year-old Colombian singer/songwriter has collaborated with Mr. Worldwide on “Get It Started,” which has been leaked on the web.

The dancetastic track starts off with an introduction by the 31-year-old Cuban-American rap superstar before Shakira belts the song’s catchy chorus.

Produced by RedOne and Afrojack, “Get It Started”—which name-checks several celebrities, including Tom Cruise and boxers Manny Pacquiao and Muhammad Ali–will reportedly appear on Pitbull’s forthcoming studio album, “Global Warming,” which is expected to be released in the U.S. later this year.

Meanwhile,  Shakira will reportedly come out with a new album sometime before the end of 2012.

Pitbull previously appeared on Shakira’s single “Rabiosa,” which was part the superstar’s Latin Grammy-winning album Sale el Sol.

There’s no doubt Shakira has had a remarkable year…  She’s received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Famewas named Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy and won a Latin Grammy.

And, now the 34-year-old Colombian superstar is ending the year with a bang by receiving six Premio lo Nuestro nominations, tying Tito “El Bambino for the most nominations this year.

Shakira is up for artist of the year, collaboration of the year, female artist of the year – pop, pop album of the year for “Sale el Sol” and two pop song of the year nods for  her hit singles “Rabiosa and Sale el Sol.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Puerto Rican singer Tito “El Bambino” is up for collaboration of the year, rock/alternative artist of the year, two tropical song of the year nods for “Llama El Sol” and “Llueve el Amor,” as well as male artist of the year – tropical and artist of the year –traditional tropical.

Mexican pop rock band Maná and Dominican-American bachata singer Prince Royce weren’t far behind, receiving five nominations each.

Other artists receiving multiple nominations include Ricky Martin, Alejandra Guzmán, Don Omar, Larry Hernández, Natalia Jiménez and Wisin y
Yandel
with three nods.

Romeo Santos, Daddy Yankee, Gloria Trevi, Gerardo Ortiz, Intocable, Juanes, Joan Sebastian and La Arrolladora Banda el Limón each received three nods.
