Lovato’s fourth studio album, set to be released later this year, is the follow-up to Lovato’s successful 2011 album, Unbroken, which featured her first Billboard No. 1 single “Give Your Heart a Break.”

“My new single #HeartAttack available March 4,” the 20-year-old singer announced on Twitter, with the hashtag #LovaticsAreHavingaHeartAttack.

“For a while, I could tell that when people would talk to me, they knew my story. I think I’ve opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve and I started to grow. These are songs about the celebration of life and how rewarding it can be. This is what this album is about,” revealed Lovato in the video clip.

Lovato is set to premiere her new single on American Idol host Ryan Seacrest‘s popular 102.7 KIIS-FM radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

“Heart Attack” was co-written by Lovato along with Mitch Allan, Jason Evigan, Sean Douglas and Nikki Williams, and produced by the Suspex. She first revealed to followers that she’s putting together a new studio set when she tweeted back in November, “Listening to rough cuts of some of my new songs…. Get excited Lovatics!!!”

Aguilera wears nothing to cover her skin but her long, flowing blond hair to cover her breasts, while a white light effect conceals her lower body part. She stands at the center of a lotus flower as if she’s blossoming from it.

When discussing album, she explained the meaning behind the title, “Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives.”

DeLuna Releases “Wanna See U Dance” Music Video…

There’s no doubt Kat DeLuna will have you dancing like there’s no tomorrow well into fall…

The 24-year-old Dominican American singer has released the music video for her latest boogielicious track “Wanna See U Dance” on Ryan Seacrest‘s official blog.

Kat DeLuna

Drawing inspiration from the story of Adam and Eve, the clip shows the “Whine Up” singer wandering through the forest and frolicking with a shirtless hottie in the rain.

“I learned how to dance samba, so I had to dance samba on a slippery floor with water, so I was like, ‘Omigod, I hope I don’t fall, please don’t do this,” she said of the video shoot. “And I thanked God that the water was cold because the guy was hot. He looked like Leonardo DiCaprio.”

It’s Official… Lopez Not Returning to American Idol

It’s the end of an era… Jennifer Lopez won’t be returning to spot at the judges table on American Idol next season.

Just a day after Steven Tyler announced he wouldn’t be returning as a judge, the 42-year-old Puerto Rican singer/actress called into On Air with Ryan Seacrest to confirm that she would not be returning to Fox’s hit reality singing competition.

Jennifer Lopez

Lopez hinted at the news on the Today show yesterday, but now her exit appears to be a done deal.

“It’s been a long process…I’ve really been torn,” Lopez told Idol host Ryan Seacrest. “Something has to give.”

Lopez chatted with Seacrest about the decision process for a tad, before finally saying, “The time has come for me to get back to the other things that I do… We had an amazing run.”

Lopez seemed open to returning as a mentor, but said she couldn’t commit to being there full time.

The news comes as People magazine reports that Mariah Carey is in serious talks to join the Idol judges panel. Other names being tossed around include Fergie and Adam Lambert.

Listen to Seacrest and Lopez’s full chat on Ryan Seacrest’s website.

Lopez Not Returning as “American Idol” Judge?

The Clash’s “Should I Stay or Should I Go” must be playing on repeat in Jennifer Lopez’s mind…

After two seasons serving as a beloved judge on American Idol, the 42-year-old Puerto Rican superstar is said to be parting ways with Fox’s hit reality singing competition.

Jennifer Lopez

While no official announcement has been made as to season 12’s judging panel, Lopez herself strongly hinted that she wouldn’t be back for a third year.

“Little by little I’m making up my mind,” Lopez told Today’s Natalie Morales during an interview Thursday to discuss her role in Ice Age: Continental Drift. “I love everybody, I love the guys [Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and host Ryan Seacrest], but I am thinking it’s time for me to go and do other things I love to do like films.”

Loopz, currently on tour with Enrique Iglesias, says she’s ready to return to the projects she put off when inking a one-year deal with Idol in 2010.

“It’s a huge decision, but I have to say there are so many things I do that I put on hold for that,” explained Lopez, who was recently nominated for an ALMA Award for her work on Idol. “It’s a heartbreaking decision if I have to go.”

While no official casting announcement has been made, a source tells Us Weekly there is no way Lopez could return to Idol, given her hectic touring calendar, which conflicts with Idol‘s initial filming dates.

“There is just too much going on for her right now,” says a Lopez insider. “She regrets she can’t stay on the show. It’s been an incredible experience and she is forever grateful that she did it.”

Among those said to be in the running to replace Lopez at the judges’ desk: Fergie, Mariah Carey, and season 8’s Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.

Sanchez Saved by Idol Judges Following Shocking Bottom Three

In what could be considered a shock heard ‘round the nation, American Idol finalist Jessica Sanchez was thisclose to being eliminated on last night’s results show.

The 16-year-old part-Mexican singer, long considered “the one to beat” earned the lowest amount of votes after this week’s performance show, causing jaws to drop and drawing boos from the stunned studio audience.

Jessica Sanchez

While Sanchez’s fellow finalists were left in shock and awe, Sanchez began singing in a last-ditch effort to snag the judges’ save.

But before the San Diego-native could finish her rendition of Deborah Cox’s “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here,” Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson rushed the stage and took the microphone out of Sanchez’s hand.

“You ain’t going home! Go sit down!” declared Lopez, hugging a shell-shocked Sanchez, who had wowed the audience the night before with her pitch-perfect rendition of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stuttering.”

Moments later, Jackson implored America to think before they vote.

“We are saving Jessica without any doubt. For myself, Steven and Jennifer, this girl is one of the best singers in America. Please everybody … vote for the best!”

It was the first time the judges had rushed to join an Idol hopeful on stage, following the use of their special “save” privilege, according to Ryan Seacrest.

When asked if she expected to be the lowest-vote-getting finalist of the night, Sanchez diplomatically replied: “No, not at all. I don’t expect anything. I just do what I do. Whatever happens, happens. I just want people to know I’ve been working hard my whole life.”

But Sanchez wasn’t the only frontrunner to end up in the unexpected bottom three. : Fellow one-to-watch Joshua Ledet, whose high-octane performance had wowed the judges the night before, was also in the bottom three.

“Everybody did a good job last night but that shouldn’t be the bottom three,” said Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine, sitting in the crowd.
