Demi Lovato to Guest Star on Paris Hilton’s Netflix Series “Cooking with Paris”

Demi Lovato is spending one night in Paris’ kitchen…

The 28-year-old half-Mexican American actor/singer will guest star on Paris Hilton’s upcoming Netflix series Cooking with Paris.

Demi Lovato

“That’s hot…literally,” Hilton says, adding a new spin to her iconic catchphrase, in the trailer for the new reality series.

Cooking with Paris sees the media personality tackle a range of recipes, from savory main dishes to succulent desserts, with guests including Lovato, Kim Kardashian West, Nikki Glaser, Saweetie, Lele Pons, and Kathy and Nicky Hilton.

But half of the fun comes from the host’s unconventional, and often chaotic, cooking practices. She flattens burgers with a diamond encrusted spatula and dredges meat while donning a flashy feathered ensemble.

The trailer sees Hilton navigate a variety of complex kitchen tools and familiarize herself with a number of cooking staples including tongs, lemon zest and tomatillos – all while looking fabulous, of course.

“Any b*tch can cook,” Hilton says, reciting Joyce Wilde and Jacki McClure’s cookbook.

Cooking with Paris debuts on Netflix on August 4.

“In 2021 alone, more than 34 states have introduced legislation targeting trans youth,” Lovato said in their video. “It is more important than ever that we continue to work to secure equal rights for all. Join me in taking action to support organizations working hard to defend LGBTQIA+ rights, and support the Equality Act.”

The star also spoke on some of the prizes that fans could win, the biggest being a trip to Joshua Tree to stay at the Invisible House, where Lovato shot the promotional photos for their latest album Dancing With the Devil..The Art of Starting Over

“You’ll have a chance to win items from my closet including outfits I’ve worn on tour or an incredible trip to Joshua Tree,” they added. “I’ve put together some of my favorite things to do and some of my favorite places to go there, and I’m teaming up with Propeller to give that all to you. All you have to enter is take action with Human Rights Campaign, a group that has been working tirelessly to support trans and non-binary equality, and all LGBTQ+ rights for over 40 years.”

For their new campaign, Lovato is urging fans to donate directly to organizations such as HRC, The Trevor Project, and more, while also asking them to sign petitions for causes including the Trevor Project’s “50 Bills 50 States” initiative to end conversion therapy in the U.S., or HRC’s “Count Me In” campaign to support transgender and non-binary youth.

And through this work, I’ve had the revelation that I identify as nonbinary.”

Demi Lovato Partners with Talkspace to Encourage Others to Find Their Own “Voice and Freedom” Through Therapy

Demi Lovato is helping people struggling with mental health challenges get the help they need…

The 28-year-old half-Mexican American actor/singer, who has always been open about their struggles with mental health, is hoping to inspire others by giving them a tool to find their own “voice and freedom” through therapy.

Demi Lovato

Lovato is an ambassador for Talkspace, an online therapy app and site that connects people to licensed therapists, whether they want to talk through a breakup and other relationship issues, or are suffering from trauma, anxiety or depression. As part of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, Talkspace is offering $120 off their service with the promo code DEMI120.

Lovato joined Talkspace as a partner last fall, saying they wanted to help “de-stigmatize” the idea of therapy. Talkspace says more than 50% of Americans struggle with mental health, but two-thirds of people with a known mental health illness are not seeking treatment. What’s more, the company says they’ve doubled their volume since the pandemic hit last March.

With Talkspace, you can get matched with a licensed therapist online within 24 hours, and then set up an appointment, whether over video, text or phone call. You can connect with your therapist daily or set up meetings based on your schedule and needs. Since everything is done over your computer or phone, Talkspace is a great option for people who prefer discretion, or the ease and comfort of logging in from the privacy of their home.

Whether you’re suffering from anxiety or depression, recovering from trauma or in need of psychiatry, adolescent, or couples therapy, Talkspace says they have clinical treatment options for almost every need.

“We’re honored to work with Demi Lovato to continue destigmatizing therapy, and inspiring others to take action in support of their mental health — making therapy available to all at a time when it’s needed most,” the company says in a release.

“From my time as a child actor and singer to growing up in the public eye — I’ve tried to remain true to myself and honest with my fans by sharing my story of struggle, hoping that whoever needs to hear it finds solace and inspiration for their own journey,” Lovato adds. “We’re all dealing with our own struggles, so it’s important to arm ourselves with the right resources to not only live and manage — but thrive — every day.”

Find out more about Talkspace and see their plans and options at Talkspace.com. And take $120 off right now with promo code DEMI120.
