The 37-year-old Latina actress/singer and Broadway star will star in VH1’s new holiday movie The Bitch Who Stole Christmas.

Launching on December 2, the film is described as “the draggiest Christmas movie ever made.”

It follows a workaholic big-city fashion journalist is sent to a Christmas-obsessed small town to dig up a story when she finds herself in the middle of cut-throat housewives, a high-stakes “Winter Ball” competition, and a sinister plot that could destroy Christmas.

Rosario Dawson to Host Inaugural Confab W, a Celebration of Latinas During Women’s History Month

The 41-year-old Puerto Rican and Cuban American actress, activist and Voto Latino co-founder will host the inaugural Confab W from content producer Ingeñuity and AARP.

The free two-day virtual event will celebrate Latinas during Women’s History Month and will livestream on March 30 and 31 at 8:00 pm EST.

The first annual Confab W is designed as a series of shows and vignettes featuring dynamic conversation, music, spoken word, and comedy — all revealing inspiring secrets of life success, recognizing extraordinary Latina stories of achievement, and celebrating “herstory” milestones and significant moments in time.

The event will include appearances from pop culture queen Charo, American musical icon Vikki Carr, Latin Grammy winner Gaby Moreno, among others.

Juan Pablo Di Pace to Take Part in Project Angel Food’s COVID-19 Emergency Telethon, ‘Lead With Love’

Project Angel Food will be holding a special telethon this Saturday, June 27, with the 40-year-old Argentinian actor/singer and Fuller House scene-stealer set to man the phones.

The Lead With Love: Project Angel Food Emergency Telethon will air from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm PT on KTLA 5in Los Angeles and stream live on the channel’s website and on the Project Angel Food page.

The goal is to raise $500,000 to support Project Angel Food’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, set up for increased needs due to the coronavirus. In the past two months, the organization has gone from serving 1,600 people a day, to serving 2,000 people a day.

Along with a mix of in-studio and virtual appearances, the telethon will include a live phone bank where callers can talk to celebrity guests, including Di Pace, Jonathan AdamsJoely FisherRachel LindsayPeter Porte, Charlie CarverLawrence ZarianSasha Roiz and Lauren Tom

Founded in 1989 during the AIDS crisis, Project Angel Food medically tailored meals to people with life-threatening illnesses, including those who are at high risk for COVID-19.

“This event will blend the best nostalgic elements from the Jerry Lewis Telethon with the modern virtual fundraisers of today,” Project Angel Food executive director Richard Ayoub said in a statement.

Charo to Compete on the New Season of ABCs “Dancing with the Stars”

The 65-year-old Spanish actress, comedian and flamenco guitarist has joined the lineup for the next season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, which will return on Monday, March 20.

Throughout the 1970s, Charo was a highly visible personality, appearing on The Love Boat, as well as on variety and talk shows like Donny & Marie, Tony Orlando and Dawn, The Captain and Tennille, The John Davidson Show, The Mike Douglas Show, which she guest-hosted at least once, and the short-lived Brady Bunch variety spinoff.

Most recently, Charo, who has a regular touring show in addition to appearances in Branson, Missouri and Las Vegas, has made television appearances on Hell’s Kitchen, Celebrity Wife Swap, Jane The Virgin and RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Charo, who will be paired with professional dancer Keo Motsepe, will compete against Mr. T, Chris Kattan, Nancy Kerrigan, among others.

The cast of the 24th season of the ABC series was announced today on the network’s Good Morning America.
