Directed by “Gucci Gucci” auteur Kreayshawn, the “Honey Dip” video finds Dev taking control of her relationship while rocking a smiley-face robe and sipping tea. By signing on to helm the video, Kreayshawn helped capture the buoyancy of the track, which was produced by Benny Cassette and co-written by Dev and David Singer-Vine, formerly of The Cataracts.

“It was such a fun experience to collaborate with my friend Kreayshawn, who directed the video for ‘Honey Dip,’ and watch our vision come to life,” says Dev. “It was important for me to keep things real in the video, so we shot it at my home in Los Angeles and tried to incorporate aspects from my day to day life.”

Dev, whose legal name is Devin Star Tailes, seduces the camera and sings the lusty lyrics while parading a variety of colorful-painted lip snapshots. Her featured guest, Fabolous, raps while being flanked by two hot-looking ladies.

“Kiss My Lips” is the latest single from Dev’s long-delayed debut album The Night the Sun Came Up, which is set for release in the U.S. on March 26.

“The album is very personal, even like the dancer songs, if you listen to what I’m saying, it’s very personal, but it’s still youthful because I wanted to capture that,” she gushed to PopCrush.

Dev, who gave birth to her first child Emilia Lovely Gorecki on December 9, 2011, plans to embark on a tour to promote the album. She’ll kick it off on March 28 and wrap it up on April 27.

“Even though now I’m embarking on motherhood and marriage and stuff like that it was important for me in this album to reflect the past three years and the journey of everything, and I think the next album will reflect everything I’m going through now, obviously,” she said.
