ROA to Launch First-Ever U.S. Tour

ROA is preparing to trek across the United States.

The 30-year-old Puerto Rican Latin urban singer, whose real name is Gilberto Figueroa, has unveiled his first-ever tour in the U.S.

It’s set to take place this fall.

Produced by Zamora Live, ROA will kick off his 19-date stint on October 8 in Miami’s Fillmore Miami Beach and wrap December 12 at Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading, Pennsylvania.

In between, he will visit key cities including Chicago, Houston, New York and Los Angeles.

The live production, which follows his international tour across Latin America and Europe, will “transform the world of his RIAA-certified project Private Suite and his genre-defying sound into an immersive concert experience,” according to a press statement.

A 2026 Billboard Latin Artist to Watch, ROA is pioneering the sultry trapsoul movement with hits such as “ETA” with De La Rose, Luar La L, Omar Courtz & Yan Block; “Fantasía”; and “Netflix and Chill” with Chris Jedi and Anuel AA—all of which have entered the Billboard charts.

“The connection [with my fans] comes from the musicality — because, although these songs share some of my DNA, they are all very different,” he previously told Billboard. “It means that in the last year, my sound has crossed over and is transcending.”

Lunay to Perform at This Year’s Premios Juventud

Lunay is preparing for a performance for the Juventud.

Premios Juventud 2024 officials have revealed the first round of performers, with the 23-year-old Puerto Rican singer and songwriter among the artists set to take the stage on July 25

He’ll be joined by fellow Puerto Rican star Luar La L.

Other confirmed artists include Camila, Darell, DJ Adoni, Emilia, Los Ángeles Azules, Prince Royce, Wisin and Yovngchimi.

The awards show will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, under the theme Atrévete a Más. The event will air live on Univision and ViX, starting at 7:00 pm ET/6:00 pm CT.

Reggaetón pioneer Wisin is also set to host the event, in addition to surprising audiences with a world premiere of a new song during his performance. Lele Pons and Clarissa Molina will also be sharing hosting duties.

Having secured seven Premios Juventud awards in the past, Camila will grace the stage once again, debuting their upcoming single “Mía” from their forthcoming album Regresa, which is scheduled for release on August 1.

Fresh off their stadium tours in Chile and Argentina, the Mexican pop balladeers are set to commence their upcoming tour across Mexico, the United States, Central and South America.

Los Ángeles Azules are set to make their first television performance alongside Argentine star Emilia to sing their new collaboration “Perdonarte ¿Para Qué?”

This year, the Mexican cumbia icons are nominated in three categories, including favorite group or duo of the year and best regional Mexican collaboration with Alejandro Fernández for “La Cumbia Triste.”

Emilia also boasts three nominations, including best pop/urban album for .MP3 and girl power for “La_Original.mp3” alongside TINI.

From Puerto Rico, rapper Yovngchimi will deliver the Latin drill track “TU$$I,” which was released late last year, originally starring Dei V.

Darell Releases New Album “Everybody Go to the Discotek”

Darell is hoping to get you dancing…

The 33-year-old Puerto Rican rapper and songwriter has released his new album Everybody Go to the Discotek, which is named after his signature phrase.

DarellThe album features 18 tracks crafted for a good time at the club while showcasing Darell’s musical versatility.

At the core of each track is his distinct, deep, raspy vocals, but while some songs are hard-hitting perreos (“Deshidratado,” “Ponte Bonita,” and “Me Dice Daddy,” to name a few), Darell is as experimental as ever.

“Lollipop” is a sensual merengue-bachata fusion, “Rulay” is a tribute to Dominican dembow “Funka” is a saucy Brazilian funk number and focus single “Wait Deh Man,” a reggae-infused collaboration with Nicky Jam, Wisin and Luar La L.

Other collaborators on Everybody Go to the Discotek include Ozuna, Myke Towers, Sech, Jory Boy, Maffio, Omar Courtz and Omar Montes.

Bad Bunny Releases Surprise New Single “100 Millones,” Featuring Luar La L

Bad Bunny is giving fans 100 million reasons to dance…

The 27-year-old Puerto Rican rap superstar, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has surprised fans with the release of the new single “100 Millones.”

Bad Bunny dropped the new track at the stroke of midnight, without much fanfare.

With an assist from Luar La L, it’s Bunny’s first release of new material this year, and the followup to single “La Noche De Anoche” with Rosalía, which appeared on his 2020 album El Último Tour del Mundo.

And, there’s more new music on the way.

Bad Bunny stopped by New Music Daily on Apple Music 1 to discuss the new number and his next song “Yonaguni,” which is due out next week.

Luar La L “is so hot right now on the streets in Puerto Rico is killing it,” Bad Bunny told New Music Daily host Zane Lowe. “He has that confidence. He has the energy.”

Of “Yonaguni,” expect a bit of both words. “It’s a balance is what people want,” he explained. “But that’s the idea, make a balance, give the people (what) they want, like the street fire street bang, and also like a chill, sweet rhythm to dance and enjoy for the summer.”

Bad Bunny wrote the song just three weeks ago, not long after her completed his WWE debut. “I was like three months working hard training, learning how to get the bump. How to fight, how to throw the punches,” he said of his time in the ring. “But I enjoyed it a lot. It was a dream come true. I was like a kid.”

Bad Bunny is in red-hot form. He won four categories at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards last weekend, including top Latin artist for the second year in a row, and performed “Te Deseo lo Mejor” on the night. The song is lifted from El Último Tour Del Mundo, which made history last year as the first all-Spanish-language album to hit No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

It was his second record-setting feat in the same calendar year. Earlier in 2020, his album YHLQMDLG opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, for what was then the highest charting all-Spanish-language title on the chart.
