Pitbull Launching “Can’t Stop Us Now” Tour; Iggy Azalea & Sean Paul to Participate on Select Dates

Pitbull is heading on the road… And, he’s bringing in reinforcements.

Following his successful I Feel Good Tour in 2021, the 41-year-old Cuban American rapper is going back on tour.

PitbullThis time, Pitbull has secured more than 50 dates for his upcoming Can’t Stop Us Now trek.

During the 2022 North American tour, presented by Live Nation, Pitbull will be joined by Iggy Azalea and Sean Paul on select dates.

This marks the second time Azalea joins Pitbull, following his I Feel Good tour. SiriusXM Globalization DJs are set to be Pitbull’s openers throughout the extensive trek.

Just in time for the summer, the Can’t Stop Us Now tour officially kicks off on July 28 at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, N.C.

Mr. Worldwide will then make pit stops in cities like San Antonio, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Toronto, Nashville, and Orlando, before wrapping on October 19 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla.

On social media, the artist born Armando Perez expressed he was “excited to announce” his new tour.

Last year, Mr. 305 closed off his touring trek as one of Billboard’Top Latin Tours of 2021, with his 32-city I Feel Good tour that had more than 419,000 total attendees and grossed a total of $19,837,668. That same trek marked Pitbull’s first in nearly two years.

Tickets for his 2022 Can’t Stop Us Now trek go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, April 15, via Ticketmaster.

Pitbull to Place Hand Prints Outside San Diego’s Theatre Box

Pitbull is leaving his mark in San Diego…

The 37-year-old Cuban-American rap superstar will be the first celebrity to place his hand prints in the sidewalk outside of Theatre Box, a new 73,000 square-foot theater complex in San Diego.

The project is a partnership between Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre and celebrity sweet shop the Sugar Factory.

The self-proclaimed Mr. Worldwide will be the first to put his hands in the cement outside the San Diego theater, where he will presumably be followed by others to create what is conceived as spinoff of the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

According to announcement from the new venue, the theater will be open on December 14 with a DJ session by rapper and comedian Nick Cannon, a San Diego native.

The new complex will include an eight-screen movie theater and a sports bar “with the biggest television screens in San Diego.”

The entertainment mall will take up an entire San Diego block, on Fifth Avenue at the corner of G Street.

Cabello Joins Voices with Pitbull & J Balvin for “The Fate of the Furious” Track “Hey Ma”

The 19-year-old Cuban singer and former Fifth Harmony member has teamed up with Pitbull and J Balvin for the track “Hey Ma,” which will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming film The Fate of the Furious, which was filmed in Cuba.

Last week, Cabello, J Balvin and Mr. Worldwide were in Miami filming the music video for the song. The trio also took to social media to share behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot.

The eighth installation of the Fast & Furious franchise opens nationwide on April 14.

The 19-year-old Cuban singer and former Fifth Harmony member, who earned her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart with her Machine Gun Kelly duet “Bad Things,” is joining voices with Latin superestrellas Pitbull and J Balvin for a new collaboration.

Cabello, who appears on the cover of Billboard‘s current issue, took to social media to share photos alongside Mr. Worldwide and J Balvin while shooting a music video in Miami.

Cabello captioned the photo “vroom vroom,” and in another pic she posted of herself holding the Cuban flag, she wrote: “For my Latin people, stand up.”

In a recent interview with Billboard, Cabello talked about her solo career, new music and finding herself in the process.

“I’m most looking forward to just finding more about myself as a person,” she said. “In creating these songs I’ve really had to dig deep into what I want to talk about and what I want to say. And not just how I’m feeling but what do I want to tell the world about myself. Like who am I? My culture, my heritage. I just want to make music that I would want to listen to.”

The 35-year-old Cuban American rap superstar ranks at No. 7 on Forbes magazine’s Hip Hop Cash Kings 2016 list with earnings of $20 million. He’s the only Latino to make the Top 10.

Pitbull, who came in at No. 13 on the list last year, saw his earnings increase by $8 million compared to the last reporting period.

In order to be featured, artists’ “pretax income from touring, record sales, streaming, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements and other business ventures” are reviewed and the list is then compiled.

Pitbull’s earning including lucrative endorsement deals with brands like Playboy and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Forbes reports that Mr. Worldwide endorses more brands than any other Cash King, except Snoop Dogg.

Meanwhile, Diddy holds down the No. 1 spot for the second year in a row.

Becky G to Appear on Pitbull’s Bad Man Tour in California

If it’s a man’s, man’s world, Becky G isn’t afraid to crash it…

Becky G, who recently released her first all-Spanish single “Sola,” will be making a special guest appearance on his summer trek.

The “Can’t Stop Dancin’” singer is joining Mr. Worldwide at his concert in Bakersfield, California on August 21.

She shared the news with her millions of followers on social media.

“I’m so excited to join Pitbull on his Bad Man Tour in Cali,” tweeted the Power Rangers actress with Pit adding, “Looking forward to it.”

Becky G recently collaborated with Pitbull on the Copa América Centenario official song “Superstar,” which they performed together at the closing ceremony in June.

She’s the second Latin artist to make a special appearance on the Bad Man Tour.

Pitbull to Receive His Own Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Two years after it was announced that the 36-year-old Cuban American rap superstar would get his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has finally set a date for Mr. Worldwide to unveil his star.

On Friday, July 15, Pitbull will be honored with the 2,584th star, which will be located in front of Eastown located in Celia Cruz Square.

Guest speakers at the ceremony include actor and rapper Luther Campbell and motivational speaker and author Tony Robbins.

“The world is fascinated by Pitbull’s story and his remarkable talent. The Hollywood community welcomes him with open arms and applauds him for his work by placing him on one of the world’s most famous landmarks, the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies in a statement.

The chart-topping artist and entrepreneur, who is currently touring the U.S. with Prince Royce and Farruko, has won one Grammy, two Latin Grammys and seven American Music Awards.

He joins a long list of Latin artists who have unveiled their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame including ThalíaJennifer LopezVicente Fernández, Angélica MaríaManá, among others.

Macy’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular just got a little more caliente with the addition of the 35-year-old Cuban American rap superstar on the list of performers.

Mr. Worldwide will be performing at the 40th edition of the holiday special aired on NBC.

Pitbull, Sara Bareilles and DNCE join previously announced performers including Meghan Trainor5 Seconds of Summer, the Radio City Rockettes and Kenny Chesney.

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will air Monday, July 4 at 10:00 pm ET, and will be emceed by Today co-hosts Willie Geist and Tamron Hall.

Additionally, Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias will perform at this year’s Premios Juventud. The “Messin’ Around” singers will perform during the awards show ceremony on July 14 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
