Paramount+ to Premiere Tyler Posey’s “Teen Wolf: The Movie” in January 2023

Paramount+ has a set a premiere date for the upcoming Teen Wolf: The Movie, starring the 30-year-old half-Mexican American actor.

Tyler PoseyThe film, written and produced by Jeff Davis, will debut on Thursday, January 26, 2023 exclusively on the streaming service in the U.S. and Canada, and the following day on Paramount+ in the UK, Latin America, and Australia.

Premiere dates for other Paramount+ international markets will be announced at a later date.

The streamer also released a first-look clip during its panel Friday at New York Comic Con.

In Teen Wolf: The Movie, produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and MGM, a full moon rises in Beacon Hills and with it a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of banshees, were coyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can both gather new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.

The film also stars Tyler Hoechlin, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Seth Gilliam, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, Ian Bohen and Nobi Nakanishi.

Paramount+ has released a teaser trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie, featuring the 30-year-old half-Mexican American actor

Filled with werewolves and other supernatural creatures, the fast-paced clip also offers a glimpse of Allison (Crystal Reed), a fan-favorite who was last seen on Season 3 of the show when she suffered a tragic death.

In Teen Wolf the Movie, the wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.

Posey updated everyone on what’s up with Scott: “Beacon Hills messed Scott up….Scott wanted to step away. He lives in Los Angeles, he wanted to get away from Beacon Hills. He’s a normal person. He works at the vet and is lonely. He’s an adult and is going through what all of us go through…he’s dealing with the reality of being an actual human. Instead of being a werewolf who saves the world, he needs to figure out how to save himself. We’ve never seen Scott like this, ever.”

“I’ll say one thing,” teased Davis, “it’s an emotional ending.”

However, Davis added, “There is a discussion about doing more.”

In addition to Posey and Hoechlin, cast also includes Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Reed, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, Ian Bohen, Vince Mattis, Nobi Nakanishi, Khylin Rhambo, Amy Workman and Dylan Sprayberry.

Teen Wolf the Movie is written and executive produced by Davis.

The Teen Wolf series aired for six seasons on MTV from 2011-17. The entire 100-episode series library is streaming on Paramount+.

The film, produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and MGM’s Orion Television, will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, UK and internationally where the service is available.

The 30-year-old half-Mexican American actor will reprise his role as Scott McCall in Paramount+’s upcoming movie sequel to the hit MTV series Teen Wolf.

Tyler PoseyEleven other series regular and recurring cast members of the original series are set for the full-length reunion film, including Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Colton Haynes and Shelley Hennig, the streamer’s chief content officer of unscripted entertainment and adult animation Chris McCarthy has announced.

Missing from the list are former series regulars Dylan O’BrienArden Cho and Tyler Hoechlin.

Paramount+ will announce additional cast names at a later date.

All three titles will be available on Paramount+. The entire 100-episode Teen Wolf library is also available to stream on Paramount+ in key global markets.

The 28-year-old half-Mexican American actor and former Teen Wolf star will star opposite Lelia Symington in Brut Force, the first feature from writer-director Eve Symington.

Scheduld to go before cameras this fall in California, the film follows Sloane (Symington), a reporter who returns to her rural California hometown to investigate harassment of local vineyard workers, uncorking a tangled web of crime, corruption and murder behind wine country’s shiny façade.

Posey, who recently appeared in the Blumhouse thriller Truth or Dare, will play her love interest and “homme fatale.” 

Vico Escorcia will also co-star as the missing girl and catalyst to the neo-noir tale.

The production has used the multi-union white paper “The Safe Way Forward” to create a risk assessment and production prevention plan, which will continue to be a collaborative work-in-progress, keeping the safety of the cast and crew at the forefront of the production and with the necessary union approvals.Posey will next be seen starring opposite Donald Sutherland in the thriller Alone.

The 28-year-old half-Mexican American actor and former Teen Wolf heartthrob will star opposite Donald SutherlandSummer Spiro and Robert Ri’chard in Alone, a film described as a Hitchcock’s Rear Window-esque infestation thriller from director Johnny Martin.

The film follows Aidan (Posey), who barricades himself inside his apartment when his complex is overrun by infected screamers. With the world falling into chaos, Aidan discovers a girl (Spiro) across his courtyard who is also trapped inside her house and now must find a way out for both of them. Over the course of the movie, the distance between Spiro and Posey turns into a tantalizing love story between these two characters stuck all alone.

The film, written by Matt Naylor, was financed by HIG Productions. In addition to Teen Wolf, Posey’s credits include The Last Summer and Scary Movie 5.

It’s Stand Up to Cancer’s first live digital pre-show on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and iHeartMedia’s social platforms.

Thebiennial fundraising event will begin at 7 PM ET/ 4 PM PT on Friday, September 7, leading into the 2018 televised roadblock special, which airs live from 8-9 PM ET/PT / 7 PM CT across the Big Four networks and more than 60 other broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Both will originate from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

YouTube has rounded out the cast for Swipe Right, its multi-generational relationship comedy, with the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor signing on as a celebrity guest star.

Rosanna Arquette and newcomer Chelsea Frei will join star Carly Craig as series regulars.

In addition to Posey, best known for his starring role on MTV’s Teen Wolf, celebrity guest stars include Jason Sudeikis, Rick Springfield, Peter Gallagher, Thomas Lennon, Bryan Greenberg, Charles Michael Davis, Christopher McDonald, Rhys Coiro, Craig Frank, Alice Lee and Sarah Burns.

Written by Craig and directed by Daniel Reisinger based on a true story by Craig, Swipe Right revolves around three women. A lifetime of saying no has left Olivia (Craig) single and miserable on her 35th birthday. In Swipe Right, this workaholic verging on a breakdown vows to plunge into the hellish world of Tinder by dating all 252 of her matches. She is spurred on by her sister Jayne (Frei), a young married woman experiencing a seven-year itch. The sisters are joined by their recently widowed mother, Mary (Arquette), who now also is a part of the online dating scene.

The eight-episode comedy series is slated to debut on YouTube Red in 2018.

Universal Pictures to Release Tyler Posey’s Supernatural Thriller “Truth or Dare” in April 2018

Universal Pictures will release Blumhouse Productions’ supernatural thriller Truth or Dare, starring the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor and Teen Wolf star, on April 27, 2018.

In the film, a harmless game of ‘Truth or Dare’ goes sideways when someone—or something—begins to punish those who tell a lie—or refuse the dare.

Truth or Dare, directed by Jeff Wadlow, also stars Lucy Hale, Violett Beane, Nolan Gerard Funk, Hayden Szeto and Sophia Taylor Ali.

Truth or Dare will go up against Lionsgate’s TraffikOrion’s Every Day and A24’s untitled horror film.

Lucas, who played Jennifer Lopez‘s son in the romantic comedy Maid in Manhattan, plays Lucas in the film.

Posey to Appear in Recurring Role on the CW’s “Jane the Virgin”

Tyler Posey is entering Virgin territory…

The 25-year-old half-Mexican American actor, who recently wrapped production on his MTV supernatural series Teen Wolf, has landed a recurring role on the CW’s dramedy Jane the Virgin.

The announcement comes as the title character, portrayed by MTV Movie & TV Award nominee Gina Rodriguez, is getting ready to date again.

Not many details have been released on Posey’s character, but he’ll reportedly play someone from Jane’s past. His first appearance will be in the Season 3 finale.

Following the shocking Season 3 plot twist with Michael’s death, Jane the Virgin jumped three years into the future, with Jane still coming to terms with her loss while raising her son Mateo.

Posey stars as Scott McCall on MTV’s Teen Wolf and also recently made his directorial debut in an episode, which will air this summer. Posey also can be heard as the voice of Prince Alonso on Disney Channel’s Elena of Avalor, and he recently appeared in feature Yoga Hosers.

The 25-year-old half-Mexican American actor and his fellow Teen Wolf castmates celebrated the filming of the MTV show’s 100th and final episode of the series in style — with a well-adorned cake.

Production officially wrapped Friday on Season 6 of the supernatural comedy-drama starring Posey, Dylan O’Brien and Holland Roden.

The popular series is loosely based on the 1985 movie starring Michael J. Fox.

The sixth season, which premiered on November 15, 2016, will consist of 20 episodes.
