Ozuna Signs with William Morris Endeavor (WME)

William Morris Endeavor (WME) has signed the 30-year-old Puerto Rican singer and rapper in all areas.

Ozuna“I am excited to collaborate with many of the top agents at WME to further connect with my incredible fans in inventive ways and continue to bring my culture to the masses,” the Puerto Rican singer born Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado said in a statement. “As an artist, I want to expand my brand and develop new and exciting opportunities together in all aspects of entertainment.”

His WME signing comes on the heels of the announcement of his 2022 global tour Ozutochi, which kicks off June 30 in Seville, Spain, and will make its way across Europe and the U.S. before wrapping on December 9 at the FTX Arena in Miami.

Ozuna kicked off 2022 with his Christina Aguilera duet, “Santo,” and dropped a trio of singles over the past few months, including “Deprimida,” “G-Wagon” and “Apretatio.”

Most recently, he released “Ceremonia,” which will appear in the upcoming HBO Max remake of Father of the Bride.

The artist is also working on his fifth studio album, which will follow his sets Odisea, Aura, ENOC, and Nibiru, all of which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. Additionally, he’s placed over 100 entries in Hot Latin Songs, including five No. 1 hits: “Te Bote,” “Taki Taki,” “Otro Trago,” “China,” and “Mamacita.”

Christina Aguilera is begging to be saved…

The 41-year-old half-Ecuadorian American Grammy-winning singer has released her latest single “Santo,” a hypnotizing, head-bobbing reggaeton song featuring Ozuna.

Marking the first time the pair have collaborated on a track, “Santo” is the third single from Aguilera’s upcoming six-track set.

It follows her first single, “Pa’ Mis Muchachas,” as well as “Somos Nada,” both of which dropped in late 2021.

“Santo,” powered by an infectious reggaeton beat and the earworm hook “Santo sálvame,” dropped alongside a music video that narrates an encounter between the artists in a sort-of afterlife.

On Wednesday, Aguilera revealed the release date and track list of the first of her three-part album. La Fuerza comes out Friday (Jan. 21), with the songs “La Reina,” “Ya Llegué” and “Como Yo” rounding out the set.

La Fuerza comes out more than 20 years after her first Spanish effort, Mi Reflejo. That release debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Latin Albums chart in September 2000 and remained there for 19 weeks. The album also peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard 200.

“It can be intimidating and scary to put yourself out there in a way you know will be challenging. I don’t write in Spanish the way I do in English, but I know my heart,” Aguilera previously told Billboard. “It’s a layered journey I’ve been on but now having kids of my own, I want them to see that mommy doesn’t know everything. I’m still learning too and I’m not going to back down from something I’m truly passionate about because I’m scared or I’m afraid what people will think. This is me being me on my own journey of life. I could cry about it. It means a lot to me.”

Aguilera’s grand return to Latin music will follow her 2018 set, Liberation, which scored the artist her seventh top 10 album on the Billboard 200.

The 41-year-old half-Ecuadorian American Grammy-winning singer will follow up her girl-power anthem “Pa’ Mis Muchachas,” featuring Becky G, Nicki Nicole and Nathy Peluso, with a Latin collaboration with Ozuna.

Christina AguileraAguilera shared the news on social media, posting a photo of the two artists in red outfits and a caption with the song’s title, release date, and pre-save link. “‘Santo’ feat. Ozuna,” she wrote across her social media accounts, revealing that the collaboration drops on January 20.

“Santo” will be part of her Spanish-language EP, La Fuerza, the first of her three-part album, set to be released more than 20 years after her first Spanish effort, Mi Reflejo, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Latin Albums chart in September 2000, and remained there for 19 weeks.

The album also peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard 200 chart.

“It’s been a project that I wanted to follow up for so long but I’m so happy that it’s happening now as a grown woman,” Aguilera previously told Billboard. “Having been a mother, having experienced the career I have, I bring a different view and set of passions. Now it’s coming from a deeper perspective and wanting to explore.”
