Cardi B Reveals Steamy Cover Art for New Single “Enough (Miami)”

Enough is enough for Cardi B

The 31-year-old half-Dominican American Grammy-winning superstar has taken to Instagram to reveal the cover art for her upcoming single “Enough (Miami),” which she’ll release on Friday, March 15.

Cardi BIn the photo, a nude Cardi B lays across a white sofa with her hair in long waves down her shoulders, rocking a glass skin look with her makeup.

Last week, Cardi B teased the fiery single via TikTok. “Me vs. you and you know who they pickin’,” she raps on the track. “I can survive in the coldest conditions… B–ches is washed, soapin’ the dishes/ I apply pressure like boa constrictors/ One b–ch, two b–ch, old b–ch, new b–ch, none of y’all not gonna do s–t/ I’m in Miami I pull up on cruise ships.”

The track is a follow-up to Cardi B’s recently released single, “Like What (Freestyle).”

The song is Cardi’s first solo record since 2021’s “Up,” which earned the rapper a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit and a 2022 Grammy nomination for best rap performance.

Since then she’s dropped “Tomorrow 2” with GloRilla, “Jealously” with Offset and the Megan Thee Stallion collaboration “Bongos.”

A new album from the rapper would mark her first since 2018’s Invasion of Privacy. The album spawned two No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 singles, the diamond-certified “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.” She also won the Grammy for best rap album for Invasion of Privacy, topping Pusha T, Mac Miller, Travis Scott and Nipsey Hussle.

Cardi B Teases Fiery Next Single on TikTok

Cardi B is teasing her next fiery single…

The 31-year-old half-Dominican American Grammy-winning rap superstar has released a teaser for what appears to be her next single in a TikTok video from the recording studio.

Cardi BBarefoot and dressed down, Cardi ripped off her typically acerbic lines over a spare, g-funk style beat, once again calling out her haters.

“Me vs. you and you know who they pickin’,” she rhymes to set up the unnamed track.

Dancing along to her own track, Cardi gives the ultimate ultimatum, rapping, “I see my opps linking up, I’m like, ‘What the f–k?/ If you scared, then just say that hoe/ Enough is enough.”

The post got a few comment from famous friends, including SZA, who wrote “the hair is giving” and Camila Cabello, who added, “sheeeeesh.”

At press time Cardi hadn’t provided any additional information regarding the track, though the caption of her TikTok post, “15” and a winking emoji, appeared to suggest it was due out on March 15.

If the song comes out next week, it would mark the follow-up to last week’s “Like What (Freestyle).” She also dropped a sexy video for the freestyle in which pays tribute to Missy Elliot and tries on a wide variety of eclectic outfits in the clip directed by estranged husband rapper Offset.

“Like What” is Cardi’s first solo record since 2021’s “Up,” which earned the rapper her a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit and a 2022 Grammy nomination for best rap performance. Since then she’s dropped “Tomorrow 2” with GloRilla, “Jealously” with Offset and the Megan Thee Stallion collab “Bongos.”

Cardi has been teasing new music for months, including an in Instagram Story last week in which she told fans that her long-awaited sophomore album could be released this year.

She told the Bardi Gang that she was “not letting my anxiety, I’m not letting what haters say, I’m not letting what fans say” prevent her from releasing new songs, adding that “I’ve got no choice because I’m dropping my album this year, so stay tuned for the announcement.”

It would be the follow-up to the MC’s breakthrough 2018 debut studio album, Invasion of Privacy, which earned her a Grammy.

Cardi B is making a big point

Cardi BTitled “Point Me 2,” the new remix is the latest in a string of collaborations between Cardi B and rising female rappers.

On the Billboard Hot 100, Cardi B has earned five No. 1 singles, including “Bodak Yellow,” “Girls Like You” (with Maroon 5), and the Megan Thee Stallion-assisted “WAP.” Invasion of Privacy, the Bronx rapper’s debut studio album, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has spent over 200 weeks on the ranking.

Cardi B to Headline Hot 97’s Summer Jam in June

Cardi B is preparing for a steamy summer

This year, renowned New York radio station Hot 97 is looking to shake things up with its annual performance staple, Summer Jam, by selecting the 30-year-old half-Dominican American Grammy-winning rap superstar to headline the event on June 4 at UBS Arena.

Cardi BCardi B will bring her laundry bag of hits, including Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers “Bodak Yellow,” “WAP,” “Up” and more.

The Bronx dynamo will have a practice round when she headlines Rolling Loud Thailand on April 13-15 along with Travis Scott and Chris Brown.

In June 2022, Cardi B headlined Wireless Festival, and in December, she reportedly netted $1 million for a 35-minute set at Art Basel.

“I got payed 1 million dollars to perform at this elite bankers private event for 400 people and only for 35 minutes,” she tweeted in response to a mocking her “backyard set.”

In addition to Cardi B, Hot 97 has enlisted several female upstarts to perform along with the touted superstar, including Ice Spice, GloRilla, Coi Leray and Lola Brooke.

More New York representatives will also hit the stage at UBS Arena, notably French Montana, Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign. To commemorate 50 years of hip-hop, The LOX will lead the way.

Younger artists such as NLE Choppa, Kenzo B, 2Rare, Sha EK, McVert and TQ will perform at a pre-festival show hosted by Montana. According to the radio station, more acts will be announced later.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 am.

“HOT 97’s Summer Jam is a hip-hop staple, and we are excited to bring the most electric show of the summer back to New York for hip-hop’s 50th anniversary,” said Bradford Tobin, president, chief operating officer and general counsel in a press release.

“The show is all about bringing hip-hop’s biggest stars to the stage, and we are honored to have New York’s own Cardi B as our headliner this year,” added TT Torrez, multimedia personality and VP of artist and label Relations. “I am so proud of the strong female presence in our lineup, which represents women’s dominance over the airwaves this year.”

Cardi B Hints at Releasing Highly Anticipated Sophomore Album Next Year

Cardi B is hinting a new album next year…

The 30-year-old half-Dominican American rap superstar called in to The Breakfast Club on Thursday morning, December 1 for Angela Yee’s last day, and host Charlamagne Tha God asked if she had a release date in mind for the highly anticipated follow-up to her Grammy-winning debut album Invasion of Privacy, which she released in April 2018 via Atlantic Records.

Cardi B“I have no choice, I have to put it out,” she replied. “I have like a couple of songs that are like definite, I don’t know. I don’t know what’s going on with me. I need to just make up my mind and put it out.”

DJ Envy gassed her up by saying since “every record you put out went No. 1” (for the record, Cardi has five No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100 so far), it’s time for her to put out more music.

But the “Up” rapper still feels like the new project is “missing something. I gotta put it out, I gotta put it out next year,” she said, revealing a timeline.

Charlamagne threw out the idea of releasing it on April 6, 2023, to coincide with Invasion of Privacy‘s fifth anniversary, and it sounded like Cardi could be up for it. But time will only tell when exactly to expect her sophomore studio album.

Earlier in the interview, when Charlamagne asked why Cardi was calling in, she woefully responded, “Because Angela Yee is leaving.” Back in August, Yee revealed she was leaving The Breakfast Club to host her own nationally syndicated daily show, Way Up With Angela Yee, which will launch on iHeartRadio.

Cardi topped off her farewell with an a cappella performance of “Until We Meet Again,” the closing theme song from the Playhouse Disney series Out of the Box.

“You’re such a huge part of the show too,” Yee told the chart-topping MC, who’s been a guest a handful of times. But Cardi might be expanding her role on The Breakfast Club as soon as next year: Charlamagne suggested she fill in as a guest-host during the week leading up to her album release date. “Ooh that would be fun,” she replied.

Cardi B to Release New Single “Hot Shit” This Week

Cardi B is continuing her Hot streak…

The 29-year-old half-Dominican American Grammy-winning rap superstar and songwriter has announced plans to release her next single, “Holy Shit,” on Friday, while promising “another surprise” is on the way.

Cardi B“My new single ‘Hot Shit’ available everywhere THIS FRIDAY 7/1,” Cardi B revealed on social media on Sunday night (June 26).

The post featured a very short teaser clip.

“Tomorrow 8pm I got another surprise for yall, tune in,” she hinted with a winking emoji.

“Hot Shit” will be the artist’s first single since last year’s “Up,” which peaked at No. 1 for a week on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart in March 2021. “Up” followed “WAP,” which spent four weeks topping the Hot 100 in 2020.

Fans have been patiently waiting for the follow-up to Cardi B’s full-length debut album, 2018’s Invasion of Privacy, which topped the Billboard 200 albums chart.

In May, she explained that when there is news she can share, they’ll know. “When things come out, that’s when I’mma talk about it,” she pointed out on Twitter.

The rankings for MRC Data-based recaps reflect equivalent album units, airplay, sales or streaming during the weeks that the titles appeared on a respective chart during the tracking year. Any activity registered before or after a title’s chart run isn’t considered in these rankings.
