The song rises 8-1 in its 11th week.

It’s the second collaboration for the two artists, who previously paired up for the top 10 hit “Bella y Sensual” (2018), which also features Daddy Yankee.

“Fan De Tus Fotos” makes its way to No. 1 boosted by a 38% increase in audience impressions, to 9.8 million, earned in the week ending April 25, according to MRC Data. It rallies to the top flanked by heavy support from New York’s WSKQ (up 906,000 in audience), Puerto Rico’s WODA (up 546,000) and Miami’s WXDJ (up 261,000).

The new chart champ gives Jam his 15th No. 1 and Santos, who last led the tally in 2019 with “Aullando,” his 18th.

Nicky Jam Teams Up with Romeo Santos for Hypnotic Reggaeton Track “Fan de Tus Fotos

It’s a special Aventura for Nicky Jam

The 39-year-old Puerto Rican & Dominican American Latin trap and reggaeton singer/songwriter has joined voices with former-Aventura-member-turned-bachata-superstar Romeo Santos for “Fan de Tus Fotos,” a hypnotic reggaeton track that finds both men daydreaming over their boss, who they think has been sending them mixed messages.

But as it turns out, they’ve been imagining things, and their distractedness gets them in some serious trouble at the office. “I’m like a fan just looking at your photos. I’m going crazy thinking I can touch you,” the pair sing.

It’s not the first time Nicky Jam and Santos have teamed up.

Back in 2017, they released the Daddy Yankee-assisted “Bella Y Sensual,” which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard‘s Hot Latin Songs chart (dated January 2, 2018).

Earlier this year, Nicky Jam made his debut as talk show host in his new interview-style project titled The Rockstar Show, streamed on YouTube. His first episode featured Colombian superstar Maluma and other guests have included El Alfa and Karol G.

During his interview with Karol G, he announced a new album dropping this year. “I’m really happy, I think this will be my best album,” he shared.

Prince Royce Replaces Himself at No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay Chart

Prince Royce is his own replacement…

The 31-year-old Dominican American bachata singer has replaced himself at No. 1 on the Tropical Airplay chart.

Prince Royce

On the October 24-dated survey, his latest single “Lotería” climbs 2-1, bumping his own “Carita de Inocente” down 1-2.

“Carita de Inocente” had earlier set the record for the most weeks at No. 1, and its total weeks atop the list now stand at 29.

“It feels great to have the top two Tropical Airplay songs in the country and I’m so thankful to everyone at radio and the fans who keep embracing my music and bachata,” Royce tells Billboard.

The last time an artist ranked first and second in the same chart week was Marc Anthony with “Lo Que Te Di” at No. 1 and “Parecen Viernes” at No. 2 (January 25-dated lists).

The last act, however, to replace himself at No. 1 was Nicky Jam in January 2018. Romeo Santos’ “Bella y Sensual,” which features Jam and Daddy Yankee, ceded its five-week reign to “Cásate Conmigo,” his collaboration with Silvestre Dangond (Jan. 27, 2018-dated list).

“Lotería” leads the list dated October 24, advancing from the runner-up position, thanks to a 34% gain in audience impressions, to 4 million, earned in the week ending October 18, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The tune helps the bachata singer-songwriter up his career No. 1 count to 19, extending his third-most record in the chart’s 26-year history. Royce stands just behind Marc Anthony with 32 No. 1s and Victor Manuelle with 28.)

“Lotería” is from Royce’s Alter Ego album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart (dated February 22). The tune was produced by Royce alongside D’lesly “Dice” Lora and written by Royce, Lora, Yonathan “Mickey” Then and Ronald “Dae” López.

Over on Latin Airplay, “Lotería” enters the top 25, hiking 34-24.

Romeo Santos Earns 11th No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Songs Chart with “Bella y Sensual”

It’s Lucky No. 11 for Romeo Santos

The 36-year-old Puerto Rican and Dominican American singer-songwriter has earned his 11th No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Songs with “Bella y Sensual,” featuring Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee.

Romeo Santos

The song ascends 2-1 in its 16th week frame — despite a 9 percent decline in audience at the format (8.8 million impressions in the week ending December 17, down 881,000). The song still receives a bullet, despite a decline, as titles in their first week at No. 1 on any chart always receive a bullet.

The song is Santos’ third chart-topper in 2017, following “Imitadora,” which reigned for 10 weeks, and “Heroe Favorito,” which spent eight weeks in the penthouse.

It’s also the fourth career No. 1 for Nicky Jam, and the fifth for Daddy Yankee on the chart.

The song also holds at No. 7 on the Hot Latin Songs chart for a second week. It’s the singer’s 15th top 10 hit on the list.
