The 17-year-old half-Mexican American singer and American Idol runner-up made an appearance on Tuesday’s Dancing with the Stars season finale to perform a subdued version of Pitbull and Christina Aguilera’s hit dance single “Feel This Moment.”

Jessica Sanchez on DWTS

Sanchez’s toned down version of the up-tempo track was used as the music for a poignant montage of the DWTS finalists’ best moments on the show this season.

Singing Aguilera’s lyrics, Sanchez went for a more subtle, softer delivery that fit the  heart-tugging montage perfectly.

This year’s Mirror Ball trophy on ABC’s reality dancing competition was awarded to another American Idol alum, Kellie Pickler.

“Oh my God! This is amazing! Oh my God,” Exclaimed Pickler as she held onto her pro dancing partner Derek Hough,

Aguilera Tops Billboard’s Dance Charts with “Let There Be Love”

Christina Aguilera has plenty of reason to do a happy dance this week…

Along with showing off her svelte body during a high-octane performance at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, the 32-year-old half-Ecuadorian singer has landed another No. 1 song on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart with “Let There Be Love.”

Christina Aguilera

It’s the second single from her most recent album Lotus to top the chart, following “Your Body,” which reigned in December.

It’s also the eighth Dance/Club Play Songs No. 1 song of Aguilera’s career. Her other chart toppers include “Not Myself Tonight,” “You Lost Me.”

During her Billboard Music Awards performance with Pitbull, they performed their Dance/Electronic Songs No. 1 “Feel This Moment.”

Mars Leads the Pack of All-Star Latino Performers at the Billboard Music Awards

He may not have claimed any trophies, but Bruno Mars still managed to make his mark at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

Bruno Mars

The 27-year-old part-Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, who was nominated for four awards, kicked off the three-hour show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with a high-octane performance.

Mars, dressed to the nines as usual, took the stage to perform his latest single “Treasure.”

But Mars wasn’t the only Latino performer of the night…

Selena Gomez performed her catchy single “Come and Get It” on the show.

The song, the first single off the 20-year-old half-Mexican American singer-actress’ upcoming album recently made its way into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Jennifer Lopez, the night’s best-dressed artist on the red carpet, had the world seeing red…

The 43-year-old Puerto Rican singer/actress busted a move on stage while performing her latest single “Live It Up” alongside Pitbull during the show.

The song, her third single with the Cuban rap superstar, is already generating serious buzz, especially after the release of the official music video for the track.

Miguel, meantime, made a splash at the Billboard Music Awards when he  landed on top of an unsuspecting audience member while taking the stage.

During his performance of his hit single “Adorn”, the 27-year-old half-Mexican American R&B artist jumped and landed his crotch smack on top of a girl in the crowd. Later, he also appeared to kick another girl in the head after jamming out to his hit.

“got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay” Miguel tweeted after his performance.

Last but certainly not least… Christina Aguilera showed off her slimmer physique f while performing at the awards show.

The 32-year-old half-Ecuadorian singer and returning The Voice coach joined Pitbull on stage to perform their song “Feel This Moment” during the show.

Aguilera and Mr. 305 were later joined by A-ha singer Morten Harket. The duo sample A-ha’s “Take On Me” in their hit single.
